I just don’t see how DSJ and RJ skillsets compliment each other.

False. The Knicks also worked out Culver and Cam Reddish.

I’m not saying they didn’t work out those guys early. I’m saying the smoke was if RJ went 2 they were going to pivot and pick one of the point guards. That was why they were bringing in all the points late so they can get a good read on them if Memphis did something funny

We don’t know what they would’ve done. That’s all speculation. Case closed lol

I think that was to deflect. They seemed pretty focused on Barrett.

I agree with that. I’m saying from all reports is they probably would have went PG if Barrett went #2.

They are doing due dillengence on point guards because they don’t like what they currently have. That includes frank and DsJ

That’s all speculation. Until I see that he’s being shopped around like Frank, I have no reason to believe that the Knicks are ready to move on from him. I doubt the Knicks would give up on DSJ so soon after trading KP for him. You can’t run away from this fact forever bro  he’s here to stay

I respect the blinders you have on for DSJ. Real support! But let’s be honest they brought in a bunch of pg’s for the draft and FA of kyrie/Kemba. That is telling

Can't understand why Cody and Garland wouldn't be scouted. They were probably getting crazy offers from Cleveland, Hawks and others. They'd be Phoenix Suns stupid not to. As far as Kyrie and Kemba, I won't even waste a keyboard click as to why one wouldn't want them.

But let's be very obvious, DSJ is going to be in the league a long time, the kid's athletic as any guard in the game and the rest is developmental.
Even if Steve Francis is his ceiling, that's a great trading chip and we should be so lucky to develop him further. Being that we're in the PROCESS time-table, to be able to bundle him WHEN THE TIME IS Right will bring us a nice return.
But first he's gotta get developed in order to have more value. What's the dam rush?

Everyone wants to do the "Process" but noone has the patience. Dam same ole Knicks fandom.

Fair point. But you can’t tell me the knicks are sold on DsJ as the long term option. They most likely will give him another opportunity but investing in RJ and for him to thrive DSJ ain’t the point guard he should be playing with

Nope they definitely shouldn’t be sold but I don’t think they are ready to give up on him either.

There’s no dots here bro  you basing all of this on pure speculation and theories. If DSJ sucks next year then I can see them trying to move him. Right now tho? Highly doubt it.

No more playing around. Get a PG who can shoot please enough of these guards with terrible outside shooting abilities. I would love to get DLo this off-season

Too bad the Knicks aren’t interested in that snitch

This idea Dlo is a great shooter, not sure where it’s from but last season was first season he had ok shooting splits. His splits for his career are mediocre.

Who said he was great? Being able to shoot or at the very least better than DSJ doesn't mean you have to be great. DLo is a better shooter/scorer than DSJ this isn't even a debate

For me it feels like it would basically be the Doncic-DSJ dynamic all over again except worse since both players are below average shooters.

Gotcha, but I see Dennis as the pg and primary distributor on this team, and RJ as the secondary ball handler and spacer. He was one of the better floor spacers in college last year.

RJ is ball dominant, will need a PG that can play on or off ball, particularly one that can shoot the 3 to space the court. DSJ doesn’t provide any of that.

RJ isn’t really a floor spacer. He needs floor spacers around him.
