Who is the best player on this team ?? Winslow, BAm, 34 years old Dragic, Tiler Johnson ? lol Pat and this front office have been screwing around for to long since Lebron left, whoever is the best player on this team would not even be the 2nd best player on any team in this league, not even the Hawks, not even the freaking knicks...This front office need to wake the foak up going for those safe role players picks year after year and signing journeymen and gleaguers to max contracts WTF, top 3 payroll and nothing to show for it, not even a Bol Bol for the fans because your capsace is so screwed that you need to save 1 million lol

I think Herro was a decent pick at 13 by the Heat. He shoots FTs at an elite level already, so this is a good sign that he can improve the rest of his shooting. I understand that he has shorter arms than most other players but that doesn’t mean he is trash. Its hard to compare players because everybody has their own strengths and weaknesses. I can see he is a very competitive player that has a desire to improve, and that is probably a big reason why the Heat felt comfortable drafting him in the late lottery. Because of these important reasons I’m optimistic he can develop into anything from a Landry Shamet to a Devin Booker type player.

I think potentially, Herro is our best offensive player already. He will 60%+ TS almost every season and he's got a tight handle. His P&R game is in the 98th percentile which is much better than anyone else on this current roster. He was asked to become a spot up shooter, hence why people think he's no more than a floor spacer. He can create for others and has a tight handle. Watch his high school highlights and you would see he takes more of a combo guard role, displaying good playmaking. I really think he can be a Devin Booker type player in the future.

The Miami Big 3 era was so long ago that rookies were fans when they were little kids?

I guess it makes sense... Tyler Herro is 19...... Big 3 won a ring in 2012.... 7 years ago... he was 12 years old.

We getting old.

Pat and Spo have that look that says, we may have screwed up, please don't roast us with the questions...looks also like they dread Ira and don't like his question, Spo face change when Ira is on the mic...lol

Looks to be Spo draft choice, Pat did not even stay on the conference, I don't remember that with Bam...

Going to spend an hour tonight watching tape of these two. Quality additions really. None of us got these guys right. Don't mean they're wrong.

Pat did not sound too confident when he said that Spo would make Herro an All Star

Yeah, I think he can become like a Devin Booker type player but I don’t want to get my expectations too high at the same time! It’s easier to see when you compare Herro to how people rated Booker entering the draft. I think it would be a steal if you could get that type of player at the end of this year’s draft lottery.

I really like Okpala too and hope he can reach his full potential. I saw places earlier this year that were projecting him in the mid 1st round and even as high as a lottery pick. I’m not surprised that Miami had Herro #9 and Okpala #10 on their board. I was just more familiar with Nassir Little at UNC but Okpala looks like he is comparable. He could end up being a great 2nd round diamond when we look back at this draft down the road.

Drafting Bol would not have changed your opinion at all about this team so quit the charades.

The Devin Booker/Klay Thompson comparisons are extremely optimistic. I’ll eat crow hard if he ends up being anywhere near these guys, but I think I’m safe.

Hope Booker puts in a trade demand and we land him instead.

Well, at least we know, this team will never ever tank. A **** bomb will have to explode for us to embrace a top pick. Therefore, these 2nd level players make pretty good role players. Pray for Giannis and AD. Maybe Wade can talk some sense into them.
