I see parts of Evan Turner, Caris Levert, and Klay Thompson.

Watch his highlights from the Iowa State game. Jump shot looks pretty money to me.

Welcome!

most impressive thing in this video is his passing and finishing at rim..especially that play at 1:05...that's some great vision to pick a pass like that in transition.

He doesn't look particularly comfortable raising up off the dribble, but his catch and shoot isn't as bad.

No way, his release is really not smooth. There's a hitch and it's inconstant.

Not saying he'll never be able to get it to go in but it is really not a good-looking shot.

He is going to get bigger, you can see that he is primed to add muscle/mass. My guess is 10-15lbs at least. If he lands in the 215-225lbs range without losing quickness, his ability to get to and finish at the rim will be crazy.

He's wearing normal shorts! Already a successful pick. I'm a fan! :) :)

Had the Wolves been given a choice between Garland and Culver, it’s likely they would’ve chosen Garland, the son of former Wolves point guard Winston Garland. There were times on Wednesday where the Wolves believed the fourth pick was within reach. But when Darius went off the board at 5 on Thursday, there was no hesitation in going for Culver over North Carolina point guard Coby White, sources said.

There is a strong belief internally that Culver has the makeup, the frame and the defensive tenacity to be one of the very best players in this draft. Now it’s up to them to help develop his game. Now the Wolves will have to start to put all of the player development they have been preaching into motion.

Well, I replicated the draft in 2k, went through the off season and Culver went off in the season opener, including this clutch and-1 dunk in OT. If real Culver is half as good as video game Culver we will be in good hands.

Hated the pick, but i'm not a GM, just a fan that wanted Garland. Hope he proves me wrong, heard the kid has great work ethic

I wonder if they took him over Coby White based on who interviewed better? Coby White seems like a totally baked Homey the Clown where as this guy is a squeaky clean choir boy.

Hope he is the second star we need, and hope Rosas is in the process of getting the third.

I've been hearing by many sources that Culver is a good not great athlete. Then I found this report of a 45 inch vertical leap.

Wow, that's interesting. But it's more about how you use your athleticism on the court. Kevin love tested at 36 inches and Taj Gibson at 29. Therefore Kevin Love is /was a superior jumper and athlete to Taj Gibson.

There are alot of guys that can jump high in the combines. Not many have the explosion to use that vert in a game.

I won't be surprised if Culver is on a different team by the start of the season.
