is PJ going to play? or still injured?

maybe macura and chealey? doubt miles plays more than a game or two. can we make monk play again? lol.

I was reading somewhere that they want Monk to play, but he hasn't committed yet.

I dont think hes committed to much of anything since we drafted him.

I would love us to sign Obeisie since he worked out for us. Kerwin Roach and William Mcdowell White are two others than I remember working out for us that I would like to see summer league

I see our first game is against the warriors. Thats Jordan Poole. I wouldn't have mind if we drafted him. I like his game. I think he will help them along with Pascal

I can't wait til summer league. It's surreal knowing that you wanted a player and actually drafted him. I think Mcdaniels will have a good summer league and show that he should have went higher. I think we got a solid player who can actually improve by adding some weight. He can give us 3 positions off the bench which is good

This is the first year where I think its reasonable to expect Monk to actually start to look like an effective player. He was always going to be a project imo and I think it was unreasonable for people to expect him to not suck his first couple years, but now he needs to start putting it together this year.

I don't think his poor play has really been much of a concern for me, but things like not taking the G-league seriously are actual red flags. I still don't know that I'd want him playing in summer league this year, just because I don't want to risk him getting injured again and based on how he looked in the little bit of summer league play we saw from him last year, I dont actually think he has much to gain from it. I can see why the team would want him to show a willingness to commit to it, though.

My summer is good because right after the season ends, comes summer league then my birthday in august then soon after preseason b-ball.

What I miss tho is Orlando Summer League because it seemed to be many more games played. I liked the year when we played in both Orlando and Vegas. I also notice players claiming injury (maybe trying to avoid playing in summer league).

Two players I wish we would have invited are , Josh Reaves and Zylan Cheatham. I think that Mcdaniels is going to make us proud this summer league tho.

I am starting to think Monk is just not NBA material. He isn't putting in the effort and it seems like he just wants to gun up shots in hope they fall. Hopefully, he proves that wrong.

Pretty much where I am. He needs a handle and to show effort on defense.

Hornets also signed Kavell Bigby Williams, he is a center from LSU that is a good shot blocker.

Puts the roster as:

Graham- Perkins
Martin- Kulboka
Miles- Franks
PJ- McDaniels
Elijah Thomas-Bigby Williams

Wow just seen we added Kerwin Roach to our summer league. (the HORNETS front office must be listening to me lol) I really like Kerwin a lot. I don't think he will be as good as BJ Taylor but I do think he has potential to make our team and I predicted he would be a FUN player to watch. I am very happy to have him and McDaniels on our summer league team as they were two of my favorite players throughout my draft process. My other favorites throughout my process were

PG - NAW, William Mcdowell White, BJ Taylor, Kerwin Roach, Arturs Zagars (who I want on our team next year)
SG - Jordan Poole, Culver, Josh Reaves, Justin James, Joshua Obeisie (who I want on out team next year)
SF - Deividas Sirvydis, rui (towards the end I became a fan. Like the minutes before the draft lol)
PF - Isaiah Roby, Jalen McDaniels, Luka Samanic
C - Tyler Cook

Wow so happy to have summer league

I think at one point I had Roach and McDaniels rated #1 in their respective positions.

Hornets if you're listening please don't stop with Roach. Get Obeisie and Zagars next year please lol
