I have no issues with his 3 pt shooting after that. He has better form than I saw in other vids.
He was on a Tech team that had few scoring options and he was basically their main guy. He'll have much more room to shoot in the pro's.
His driving to the basket and scoring will be just what the Wolves need. High % shots inside and then get to the line.

Re: The Jarrett Culver Thread
You don't see this on many highlight reels because it was technically an offensive foul, but.....

Maybe you will never see it. Try a new pair of glasses! Sheesh.

I'm right with you dude. If he stays in his present state he will be a bust, they are banking on his work ethic and character for further development I assume. Because 28% from 3 and 60- something from the free throw line are both FRIGTNING!! They are really banking on the character and intangibles with this kid, a pretty big leap of faith. I don't have that kind of faith.

You just know they will call that on him every time in the NBA. I hate that travel call as it gives the offensive player virtually no advantage. It's almost imperceptible.

If his jumper isn't as bad as it seems we will know quickly. Early on NBA defenses wont be keyed in on him like the NCAA, he should get plenty of good looks.
When luck shuts the door skill comes in through the window.

Yeah, the video was posted to show his explosiveness and ability to attack and finish at the rim as it was called to question earlier.

I'm confused, what did he do wrong? I never saw his pivot foot move. Is there something I'm missing. I didn't see no Gorgui shuffle there.

I don't know 30% shooting at the college level is a big concern of mine.
Go Wolves!
Like I said 6' 6.75" in shoes. You don't play in bare feet so why use that measurement?
He shot 38% the year before from 3.
Don't feed the troll. It's a fake account.

I agree. I love his strong 12 foot and in game too. We haven't seen that since Sam Cassell. I was concerned about his 3 pt shooting too, at least a little but the more I've seen of him I'm no longer concerned. He's a different kind of player than we have and we need that. We will be tougher to game plan for.
Nowell is the guy who will surprise everybody. I'm projecting "steal of the draft".

Makes me wonder how much doing tons of squats would help Wiggins' game

I don't believe so? Pretty sure he shot like 28.5 from 3 this last year, and below 70% free throws both years.

He shot 38.2% from 3-point as a freshman and 30.4% as a sophomore.
He shot 64.8% on free throws as a freshman and 70.7% as a sophomore.
