On staff but with a reduced role. I don't think he'll be there after next season. Too many players got hurt and never returned on his watch. Now with the team being more veteran those guys will bring in their own guys from time to time.

did they ever replace the head trainer marco nunez? if not, i dont think any of the trainer's jobs are safe until nunez' replacement decides to keep them or bring in their own personnel.

This is where Bron’s influence on the organization can be hugely influential. I know he’s a unique specimen of a human, built like few etc, but he stays in shape and has had very few injuries.

Is Judy Seto in charge of that now? Or is "Director of Player Performance" something different?

No wonder all our players get hurt all the **** time. That anterior pelvic tilt on a squat is just asking for hip impingement

There’s no way that Seto’s job is the equivalent of head trainer. Seto has got to be WAY higher than simply a head trainer.

Our medical staff has downright sucked for years. i think many people have been saying it, we should poach Phoenix's staff (like all of them miracle workers).

Re: Is this guy still Lakers staff?
Judy Seto won't be the only one in charge. They have to hire a trainer and new medical staff. I'm hoping they use their resources to hire McKechnie. That was a Reddit rumor, we'll see if it comes to fruition.

She worked for the Lakers before, first Kobe then the Lakers themselves as the head physical therapist from 2011-16 and she's highly qualified, well respected in the industry as one of the finest sports therapists around
