Re: ROTY thread
I hate to be that guy, but I think the top 3 guys are going to have a pretty big solid gap between them and everyone else in this.
Those 3 guys are going to get all they can handle when it comes to their usage. Garland has a chance to make some noise as well.
My 1st team rookie projection:
Zion
RJ
Ja
Garland
Herro

im betting on it, it's the perfect system for him, and no Irving.

Re: ROTY thread
Winner is Zion. I like Morant for 2nd.
After that its a catch all. RJ, Hunter, Garland, White, Culver will get good minutes.
My dark horse is Reddish. I am looking for him to get some solid minutes starting in December when he should be totally back and in running shape from his surgery. I also think Rui could surprise and put up good numbers in Washington.

I'm hoping he's good.... with the year we've had a gem in the draft would be great.

If the Knicks strike out in FA, Barrett will win it.

Re: ROTY thread
Too early. How often is it like this year that it pretty much is top5 from the draft that get it? Specially in this draft, I am pretty sure we will have some surprises from middle and late 1st round, maybe even someone from 2nd round. Also, many teams gonna fill their teams in FA and gonna overspend, might give some that wasnt gonna get many minutes get more.
Take a team like Mavs. Atm I'm not even sure Isaiah Roby is in their plans. But, if he is and they plan to play him at SF, why not? With Luka and KP he will get a lot of space to cut so might be some very highlight friendly plays.
Hard to say before FA is over and we know what the teams will look like. Like, not that it will happen, but if Mem would sign kyrie Ja would be out of the race, and same thing can happen for every rookie. I think the team will have the top 3 from the draft, 1 from late teens/early20s and a big surprise from 2nd round. And as someone said, we cant forget MPJ. If he had been healthy and been in this draft he would have had been the no2 pick
