Fastest 3/4 court sprint at the combine and 2nd highest vertical at 42.5" :o
Both numbers better than guys like Rose and Westbrook.
Trading away the 2nd to get him at the end of the draft looks like a solid move to me.

That is a lot of people to disappoint. I bet that will give him extra special motivation to stick in the NBA. I hope that is true. Congrats kid. You made it this far, lets see how far you can go!

What’s the reason he went so late in the draft? I’m trying to find the reason he wasn’t ranked higher.

His athleticism is off the charts, he shoots the 3 at a reasonable clip and he’s got adequate size.

What am I missing? He’s not even that old and it seems like he’s improving every year.

Must be personality or character questions? I haven't looked at him much.

Accordin to this His athletic ability seems off the charts and he's a good character guy. Just seems to need some development as a pg.

Would be nice if this kid earned some minutes right away. Seems like a Mike Conley type

That's the problem. When you're the starting pg for a major conference program that had a great year, then set records for athleticism at the combine, and still last til the very end of round 2... your game is lacking.

He’ll be 22 in November.

He’s a Westbrook acolyte. That style of jump shooting involves aiming. That will get you in the 2nd round.

He has great athletic ability. It’s the only thing at which he’s great.

He is thin and doesn’t have long arms.

The jump passes backwards for no reason are concerning.

He can be excellent. Time spent watching video of Curry, Chris Paul, Steve Nash, and Thomas Heurtel play will help him reach his potential.

Learn to shift gears. Guile. Subtlety.

Wow this guy can really fly around the court! He may challenge Ish for quickest guy in the league. Overall he seems like a nice pickup late in the second round. If he can improve as a shooter and play maker, he could be really good actually.

I think there is a decent chance he will be a very good spot up shooter. Free throw percentage is solid and when you watch his highlights a lot of his 3 point attempts were taken from legit NBA 3 point range. Does lack some strength. Reminds me of Brandon Jennings.
