Did you see that play he made diving to his left to snag that grounder, get up and make the throw to get Diaz? That was a helluva play

Hey! With this 7 inning, 1 run performance, starting pitcher Zach Wheeler has lowered his ERA to just under 5.00.

Yep, he's "great"! How much should we offer him? 5 years $150 million?

That’s why we need to trade him in the middle of his “now that wet out of it” hot streak. Sell high!

Have to blame DeGrom for this one. You gotta get more than one RBI

Vargas and Callaway involved in “heated argument” with reporter in clubhouse. Vargas had to be restrained.

Alonso is one of the few bright spots for this team. I thought his numbers in the minors might've been a bit inflated but wow was I wrong. He's already a monster.

Don't get me wrong, the kid can really hit. But I have no doubt that the ball has been juiced this season.

Time for Mickey to go. The heat's gotten too hot in the kitchen for him. Time for Brodie and Jeffy to come out from under their desks and face the music as well.

I didn't even think about that angle. The Yankees broke their franchise record with I think 27 straight games with a homer. Ridiculous.

Alonso broke one of my favorite Mets' rookie record. Back in the 80's if you cracked 25-30 homers in a season you were probably batting cleanup.

He's still one of the few bright spots on this team.

How ironic it's with the good ol' NYDN. First the MSG ban for RJ's press conference, but this is really ridiculous. I'm surprised Vargas would go after a guy like that, I guess he was just trying to back up MIckey.

It's quickly turning into a dumpster fire in Queens.

Time for the Wilpons to do like Dolan and ban the NYDN ;)

It's Newsday

Ya know, I agree with Joe and Evan that the Knicks and the Mets should trade owners. Dolan would be great as Mets owner because he would be spending all this money on the team and, now that he's all involved with Azoff and his shytty band he would be around to meddle. The Wilpons who try and find reasons not to spend cash would be better in the NBA because it has a salary cap.

Someone just held a presser, I believe. Don't know if was Mickey or not. Was getting out of the car just as he was about to go on. Anyone listen to it?

the wilpon/bvw/callaway combo might be the worst owner/gm/coach combo of all time

i absolutely despise all 3 of these clowns. Mets org is sh*t and now we are stuck with the corpse of CANO for 4 more years and traded our best prospect and now stuck with that contract...yikes

Did you see what kind of year Bruce is having? A great year. And could’ve used him too.

Jeff actually likes Mickey so don’t expect him to go anywhere this season
