mitch
barrett
knox
dotson
dsj

pg duties rotating between him and dsj, preferably more in his hands. dotson and knox as catch and shoot guys, which they're good at. mitch can jump over anyone.

i already like the potential spacing the team will have.

Can’t wait to see RJ play. We throwing him the keys but free agency coming up. Either way all I know is he will be here past any free agent and he’s young so we good either way.

Also RJ joining espn radio today I’m sure of it. Not sure what time.

Think about it this way...The league is bigger than the owners (they replaced the clippers owner)and I think the AD situation- compounded by the fact that NO had the worse attendance/viewership (forgot) in the entire league...It was a perfect opportunity
for the "NBA" to fix it... and they gave the Grizz dem a likkle piece of thee oxtail

oxtail gravy.

the league is bigger than any one owner. but it's the group of owners that collectively make league decisions. so gayle would either have to have a lot of pull, or like you say, the whole group of owners would need to feel like they need to save NO at the expense of the lottery process.

sounds wild that they would do that for this draft... or for all drafts. and is this how you would feel had the knicks won the lottery?

I get that - it feels like a lot to orchestrate...I just think it's about an understanding that is pre-existing...almost like
hazing...when you first join- you are told the rules- your are programmed and understand that this is what comes with being an owner...again, I don't know the process- I just know that that there is no such thing as coincidences...ancient universal law...
salute and respect to you...

I think it has happened far too often recently if you think about it.

1) Lebron from ohio going to cleveland
2) Lebron leaving cleveland and cleveland again getting the top pick
3) derrick rose from chicago going to chicago

don't get it twisted, mitch and barrett are untouchable.

the bottom 3 are replaceable, in fact those 3 are there to guarantee the losses for another top pick.

I want to hand the keys to RJ as should all top picks should but I would still rather get 2 max cats and have the kids ease their way in. If not im still excited.

We arguably could be sitting on a legit top young core

DSJ- Catalyst/ Scorer
DOTSON- Knock down shooter
KNOX- Secondary scorer/ Knock down shooter
TRIER-6th man/ Devastating scorer
MITCH- All around beast
RJ- Go to scorer/ Facilitator
Frank- Swiss Army defender
Iggy- Stretch 4/ Energizer

I like what we are doing. Pieces actually fit. I honesty want them to find their own way but only if we cant get 2 legit superstars.

if we're not getting Kawhi then I agree- except I would like to see what Knox looks like after putting in that off season work...

I think Trae's a smart dude but also an awkward dude with a speech impediment. Not unlike Mitch. Trae could be a basketball genius so I wouldn't just dismiss him based on his interviews. Even though that First Take segment seemed kinda pointless, I'll give you that.

But I agree RJ is really smart and well-spoken. He has all the tools to succeed, hopefully he knows that the Mamba Mentality is not just about being competitive on the court but also about working harder than the rest.

I'm team RJ all the way, don't get me wrong.

I had no clue Trae had a speech impediment. He just came off really unprepared for a pretty softball interview. Stephen A was much tougher on RJ calling him out for always going left and he handled very well. That's why I said I hope RJ has the talent to back it up his professionalism because Trae is going to be the runner up to the ROY.

I don’t know that he has a speech impediment, but I assume that he does.

SAS is already setting up RJ for failure smh.

I actually thought it was a tough but fair question and that's where I learned RJ is actual right handed.
