Either him or Bzdelik taking charge of defense would be awesome.

I didn't realize Shaw and Simons are still on the staff. I thought they both went with Luke.

Not sure either but they are both listed on our official coaching staff? Maybe they aren’t?

Why is Simon retained?
He was Luke’s buddy because of their Arizona connection.

Yeah was just thinking how random of all the people to not get erased from our team in the last few months, I wouldn’t have guessed miles Simon would be one of the few remaining. Him and Kuz must be regulars at Jeannie’s fancy dinner parties.

I'm in the minority here, but I don't like the direction we're going with the coaching staff. I just have this weird feeling they're simply way too many chefs in the kitchen and it is only a matter of time before things blow up. Kidd, Hollins and Adams I feel is an overkill... at least 2 of these coaches have aspirations of being a head coach. I'm not saying Hollins and Adams aren't solid choices.

The last time this team made the playoffs they made it off Mike Browns staff

Quinn Snyder
Eddie Jordan
Bernie Bickerstaff

Dantoni was forced to keep them year 1 as well after team wouldn’t pay for anymore assistants.

Phil always had Tex Winters, Hamblen, and Cleamons with him .. Rambis and Shaw were added

Luke, Scott, and Pringles never had a good coaching staff because they were the voice and smartest person in the room. Mike Brown didn’t have that problem. Phil didn’t even have it because he always had Tex to check him and Kobe, Shaq, Pau, or Lamar.

I like the staff being assembled overall. You can say too many chefs in the kitchen. But damn they had no Indians with stones to call out the chiefs these 6 years they failed

Think of it this way though... If we get adams, now we have the guy we can retain when we have to fire everyone...
Before it sounded like that might have been JKidd.

Kidd's supposed value was to mentor Ball. Now what value does he have? Maybe we can add him to the trade too.
