Reason fourth quarter offense sucks is because teams know what’s coming. We don’t have anybody else that can break the defense down except Kemba. Best option now is when Tony is playing well, would be nice if Lamb could shoulder more.

Teams just blitz Kemba or sit on his step back with extra defenders at the rim. This is why we were so good when we had Lin, he could attack defenses once Kemba swung the ball.

Majority of people around here are oblivious to him being gone for nothing holding onto a false hope we will resign him to some ridiculous cheap contract even tho everyone and their mother has cap space this summer.

What about Marvin, Lamb and a second round pick for Wilson Chandler and Fultz?

Gets us an expiring and guard prospect for when Lamb leaves. For Philly the total talent on their team without committing much future salary. They aren’t going to get much more for Fultz at this point.

imo I would only if Kemba resigns cause its no use too if Kemba go elsewhere might as well just play Monk then and let him sink or swim on his own.

If Kemba does resign through and we also sign Lamb I like our chances to make the playoffs esp with boston falling apart and the raptors if they lose leonard will also take a step back.

I don't think so. The only path to Lamb returning would be to make a trade for cap space that enables the team to re-sign Kemba & Lamb while not going over the tax. There will be a lot of teams with space now that will miss out on the top tier free agents. One of them is sure to make Lamb an offer.

well **** lol.. it looks like Monk is going to get his chance to be the guy unless coach decides to put Batum back at sg like cliff did.

I think there’s zero chance we re-sign Lamb.

Feels like Bacon was being groomed as his replacement from about mid season last season knowing we’d be letting Lamb walk.

I don't really see a path to Lamb coming back, which is unfortunate because I was a huge fan of his in college, was excited to see us pick him, and was impressed with the growth and development he showed in Charlotte. We just have way too many guys on the roster making double the amount they should, so Lamb will be a casualty.

Deep under the radar, Lamb emerged as one of the league's most effective wings last season, averaging 15.3 points with league-average efficiency and reasonable defense at positions that are tough for most teams to fill. His RPM ranked eighth in the league among players listed as shooting guards, and at 27 Lamb is in his prime.

Given Charlotte's tax concerns if Walker re-signs, a run at Lamb would be a wise investment for a wing-needy team, though it's difficult to see exactly who that might be unless the Lakers show interest or Orlando needs a replacement for free agent Terrence Ross.

I dont really think Lamb making 12-15m (what he'll probably get) is that much of a trade asset, not negative value but not enough to get much of a return. I'd just develop Bacon and Monk as Lamb replacements and get their value up. Bacon is pretty similar to Lamb IMO.

I'm not a cap expert, but it seems like the only way we'll be able to resign Lamb is if Kemba signs on a substantial discount specifically to allow them to have enough cap to resign Lamb.

I think the Cody Martin pick, which gives us Monk, Bacon and ManBun at SG, is a sign that the team doesn't believe it can afford Lamb

Oh Lamb is totally a goner if Kemba is resigned. I was just wondering if it would be worth it to resign Lamb if Kemba leaves.
