Melee feels wonderful. I'm playing a melee character for the first time and am really enjoying it.

One thing to note is that the league mechanic isn't great for melee. It works perfectly fine - I still have amassed ~3ex in gear and currency this league entering T5 maps - but AoE characters can rip through the league mechanic easily. Cyclone works well if you want to do that and still be melee.

That doesn't make the league, league mechanic, or melee that much less satisfying though. Really great league. They pretty much nailed it.

Melee feels fantastic at the moment.

At last check on Reddit, around 45% of the characters in this new league are Cyclone builds. Needless to say, it is very strong at the moment.

In POE I just had a Mirror drop for me in Act 6 from a barrel.. lol.

Going for 90 or so exalted orbs at the moment.

Yeah it was my first one, lol.

Steam says I have 650 hours played on POE. The friend I was playing with has 4,000+ hours played and he said he's never seen one.

Before it dropped, I was literally about to log off to go watch an episode of Cherynobl, glad I didn't. :lol:

Did you buy it or just judging off reactions online? It's a game I've been very skeptical of, despite wanting it to be very good because I love metroidvanias. I'll wait for the Switch version if it is in fact that good.

Didn't think it would be possible to get me away from Borderlands DLC or the sequel to SOTN, but Dark Souls did it. I moved the Switch to a different room this weekend so I could play it more. I now know what people have been talking about for years: the level design is absolutely bonkers good.

Dark Souls is indeed amazing. Which reminds me, I still need to grab the second one.

Any Hollow Knight fans? It's been quite awhile since a game has kept my attention for more than a few hours, Dark Souls 3 might be the last one. But Hollow Knight is my jam right now. Thank you XBox Game Pass PC.

Yeah as soon as it dropped I started making a build for it. To be honest though, I don't have much interest in playing a magic find tornado shot build.

Think I might sell it. I have it listed on POE trade for 115 exalted. If someone offers that, I'll let it go. :lol:

So my PC parts are starting to come in and I got my keyboard today. It's a Razer mechanical keyboard and it seems pressing the down arrow makes a louder/different noise than any of the other arrow keys, think something is wrong with it?

Nah, not really. It's still in the box but the box has the cutout where you can press the arrow keys. Once I take it out I'll try it again and give a better description.

Super Mario Maker 2 is out today. After glowing reviews yesterday, I played a bit today before work. Must say, was quite fun. There are already some great created levels out there. Innovative. I’m really going to enjoy this one.

I beat Elder for the first time last night, in yellow maps. Died twice learning the mechanics, but otherwise felt pretty good.

Unfortunately, my drops were ****. As they have been all league long. I've had one single exalt drop. Nothing noteworthy, above 50C or so, in gear either. Everyone's talking about how great this league is for drops, and I don't doubt it, but here I sit with my terrible RNG. Sigh.

About ready to move on, though. Will play more casually here on out.
