As a Kings fan, I am mad at the Wizards for doing this. But I get it from the Wiz point of view. They get a chance at a few players. Why not?

LBJ - 37,436,858
Davis - 27,093,019
Kuzma - 1,974,600
Deng - 5,000,000
9 cap holds - 8,074,422
Total = 79578899
Cap space = $29,421,101
Where are they getting $32m?
Is this just a D.Lo Max they mean?

I wanted bonga and Wagner for my squads last 2 seats.
Smart move all around. The only way they can ruin it now is signing jimmy butler instead of Kyrie or Kemba

Looks like they are going to have the cap room PRE Davis trade. So, they have to agree to someone before July 6.

Nice move for the Wiz, who have some capspace but really needed bodies, especially in the frontcourt. If they like Bonga, he should get time too with Wall out.
And of course the Lakers got to where they wanted to be.

The moratorium ends on the 6th. So they'll have to get that player signed at midnight and then make the trade.

So is the deal just LAL/Washington/New Orleans or LAL/Washington/New Orleans/Atlanta?

They could've done DLo without trading those three guys. And to get this to still work on the 6th BKN would have to renounce DLo as soon as or before FA opens. So I don't see him as super likely.
Could definitely still be Kyrie if KD isn't going to BKN. Or could be Kemba if we don't believe the reporting on Boston.
Not sure who else though. Seemingly it's definitely a guard. Would Klay go to LA?

the July 30th date was un doable as the #4 pick wouldnt get to play in summer leagues, Pelinka already knew nop was shopping it so it people just wanna find ways to throw dirt on pelinka grave when ALL the details weren't released yet....so woj can take his rhetoric n go kick rocks

Accordin to Woj's story on ESPN, it's a three-way trade (the former). Washington is sending New Orleans some cash to complete that leg of the trade; including Atlanta means a lot more pieces to fill in for no real benefit. Their trade with the Pelicans can be separate as long the three-way deal is completed legally.

Gonna be the longest week ever for NBA fans from July 1st to July 6th.
Laker fans begging the bball gods that "mana will fall from heaven" and snag Kawhi or at least Butler and Kawhi.
Everyone else begging the bball gods for max FAs to slam the doors in LALs faces, or better yet, max out the likes of Middleton, Vucevic, or Kemba.
Gonna be **** lit.
Also shoutout to all those guys who crunched the ever living hell out of hte numbers and was able to concisely explain HOW LAL has a path to 32m in cap space, via trade timings and what not.

you know, noted LA mouthpiece Ramona Shelbourne reported the same thing.
I get the entire city of LA has declared war on Woj which would be freaking hilarious if it wasn't so pathetically sad. But in this case, this story was reported so many places by so many people you can't rationally accuse of an anti-LA bias that it requires an amazing amount of only seeing what you want to see to take this position so strongly.
If they really knew, it would have been in the original deal.
