Pretty cool. Doing everything he can to make AD feel welcome. Putting him in Space Jam, giving him his number. I think he's learned from his mistakes in the past with Kyrie and others and wants to change the narrative that stars don't want to play with him.

After Magic just bailed on him, LeBron probably felt weird repping the number.

That whole narrative is so overblown anyways. Maybe Kyrie didn't like playing with him, but he's a strange dude. Wade liked playing with him, Love and him became good friends, James Jones and Mike Miller followed him to Cleveland, Big Z followed him to Miami. Way more examples of him being a likeable teammate than not

Always a veiled shot but this time it makes sense. It can only work if LeBron gives Kawhi the keys to the ferrari. Been saying that for a while but Bron has to take a step back and let others be "the guy" if he wants to have any chance of getting anyone to join him as the Lakers and not feel like a backup dancer. He's going on year 18 and is almost 35. No shame in it.

It’s just a good eraser and similar to Kobe going 8 to 24.

23 was injured, missed the playoffs, Magic quit on him, coach got fired, etc.

Lebron basically said new start, new path, and not AD can start the 23 legacy in LA

Actually I am with miles on this one, Lebron is getting old he should take the Bosch/Love role in said trinity.

I'd still want LeBron as primary ball handler/facilitator since he's a much better playmaker than Kawhi. Could probably average 10+ assists a game but wouldn't need to score as much.
