LoL' I'm sure that will keep him up at night...
It would be terrible for NBA and would ruin what was shaping up to be the first season in about 10 years (since Lebron to Heat) that was truly wide open. And yet, I can’t imagine anything else happening. Why wouldn’t Kawhi join LA Lakers? It’s what NBA players do. It’s what Durant did.
Kyrie would be an utter fool not to join Lakers himself. How can he go to Nets with Durant and relive the past 2 years in Boston? Play a season without Durant, get unreal expectations for his return and then suffer through a season where Durant can’t guard anybody and is 70% of what he used to be on offense? Crazy. And he wants to make movies.....imagine the doors that would be open to him after a season of Showtime in LA.
Kyrie and Kawhi are different dudes but it’s too much to expect both to make crazy decisions. Get ready for the new Big 3 in LA.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."
