Epic fail for the LA Lakers.
Agreed. This might be the worst trade in NBA history. This could make the Kevin Garrett and Paul Pierce trade to the Nets and the Dwight Howard trade to Lakers look good in comparison. Thank goodness the 76ers front office can never be this incompetent, which is why the 76ers are looking like a Championship contending team next year and beyond.
Essentially gave up everything picks wise from 2015-2025 to get to a position to have Anthony Davis and 23 million in cap space...When Davis is a free agent next season and has openly talked about being a Laker...that's pretty epic mismanagement.
Someone post the quote below for me on this thread:

"You sound like a hypocrite criticizing the lakers, to be honest. The lakers gave up 3 first round picks total for anthony davis. The sixers gave up even more picks, 4 picks total (2 first round picks, and 2 second round picks) for Tobias Harris, and they included landry shamet, who is a great player who they had just drafted with their last first round pick. As a result, they gave up 5 picks total for tobias harris (3 first round picks, and 2 second round picks). In addition, they also gave up even more for jimmy butler, who is very unlikely to return.
In addition, Philadelphia wasted numerous high picks on Nerlens Noel, Okafor, and Markelle Fultz (6, 3, and 1 overall).
The point is, every franchise has its failures, and nobody is bashing philly for these horrible moves, when they easily could be.
Why are you so keen on bashing the lakers?"
