if we eventually even get a meeting with KL...KD will already be in the bag. This will be KD's team he will be the first domino. If KD wants KL after that and we get a meeting thats another story. But the idea is Kyrie jumped ship to brooklyn and he is recruiting KD. KD wants his own team.

I don't like in NY. So somebody who does, enlighten me. During the playoffs, were their significant amount of people in Nets gear? Lot of fans at bars watching the games?

I don't go to Brooklyn much but dead ass I have never ever seen someone with a Nets jersey, hat or t-shirt in my neighborhood, gym, work (work near Penn Plaza and sometimes Soho).

I get laughed at but KD will be somewhere between Joe Ingles and Tobias Harris. I hope I'm wrong if he comes here but this is where I'm betting money on.

3 you know I'm not a DSJ hater. Him making his shot helps my Frank DSJ pairing become more of a reality.

KD will be hounded by the media types whenever he steps out in public, and they'll be watching and filming his every move (or non-move) in his recovery. The mental pressure is going to be immense.

Do we just ignore the fact that KD has won 2 finals MVPs which probably speaks a little to his mental strength and endurance under immense pressure? We’re not talking about a child going through stage fright - this is a grown man that’s been able to drive himself so hard he’s become the best performer in the entire world. The mental issues seem a bit overblown.

KD won those titles with Curry, Klay and Draymond. An average/good starter like Harrison Barnes did it too. KDs accomplishments in GSW were very weak tbh.

Release is clean and repeatable. It's his bottom half that's always been the issue. It's why his catch and shoot numbers have always looked way better than his off the dribble jumper numbers. Much easier to fix balance issues than actual release issues.

You can repeat bad form over and over

Release is clean and repeatable. It's his bottom half that's always been the issue. It's why his catch and shoot numbers have always looked way better than his off the dribble jumper numbers. Much easier to fix balance issues than actual release issues.

But what I'm saying is I don't think his touch are actual release from his hand is bad. It's his bottom half that needs to be completely revamped.

yup i believe this had been in the works for a while...big guys like him don't just randomly make decisions and we aren't in a position to rescind that offer. This is the first superstar in a while that in theory wants to come here. If anything even if its a legacy play it should help the young guys and our ability to attrack other players because KD is a generational player even if we won't be getting 100% of KD.

That article said that KD's leg will be at 95%. That doesn't say KD will come back at 95%. Big difference, imo. 100% in one leg, 95% in the other will absolutely kill your balance.

If they snap his other Achilles right now they can both be at 95% at the same time.

Plenty of players have odd form to their shooting and are good/great shooters though. I don't see how anyone can watch videos of DSJ or any player and say he has some kind of glitch in his form or release or whatever so he won't be able to shoot at a good percentage. Players do what feels comfortable to them and can make it work for them and some most likely do have to fix whatever that glitch is in their form to become good shooters. A lot of it is more about these guys having confidence in their shot when they release it and being right mentally.

I'm good with giving DSJ this year to see if he can fix his shot and i've been one of the biggest people that isn't a DSJ fan.

Good mechanics are easy to point out. No, not everyone has to shoot the same shoot the same way, but you can see all the issues all the way through. Even guys who start off on the other side of their body look good once they release.

Chill with the tacking on assumptions based on an observation. Where did I say "whatever so he won't be able to shoot at a good percentage."??

THJ had hella confidence in his shot. He still looked like this guy a whole lot.

ughhh, don't really believe he's hearing anything lol. But I do agree with Kawhi considering Lakers.

He's turning 28, so he's not THAT young. He was already 2x finals MVP and proved he can carry his team.

At this point, he might be tired of carrying, and want to have some fun.
