Here's an opinion. This post sucks.

Spoiler:
:D Just kidding! Eh - good player, but would need a lot of $ and doesn't fit the Knicks in terms of where they are in their rebuild - ie securing that dynamic perimeter player first, which the NBA has mostly always been about, but especially last 20 years
.

IMHO, I don't want KD, Kyrie nope, KL def yes. Vuc,Mitch and Knox up front, not a bad front line. get KL and whoever starts in the backcourt, impressive starting 5. IMHO

It could be. I still think if Vuv was one of the players, the other would have to be that dynamic wing FIRST, like KL - as you state.

current list of wishes:

Kawhi/Butler
Kawhi/KD
Kawhi/Kyrie
KD/Kyrie - more to see if a seasons worth of rumors was true.

Other than that? Pocket the money, unless Portis or Randle - MAYBE, if they took 2 year deals, which they won't.

Lets talk about another thing near and dear to our hearts. What teams would you like to see most screwed over in FA, both long and short term?

My list:

Boston
Lakers
Houston
Nets
Mavs

That's a pretty good list. I know it's not popular, but I like Tatum, Hayward and Brown as players and it's hard to root against them especially now that this moron Kyrie leaves them.

Yea. Plus I heard he was a football player who turned to basketball.

So he's gonna be a late bloomer for sure. Seems like everybody knows that. Even Mitch with the way he was destroying him in that Knick video.

and how late is 19 really? we are too much.

In a perfect basketball world GSW keep Durant and Klay, we get Kawhi and Jimmy plus Beal or Jrue, Lakers get Melo and CP3, Mavs get KP and Vucevic, Clippers trade for DeRozan and sign Kemba+Tobias, Bucks re-sign Middleton, Minnesota really makes room for DLo and the Celtics keep Rozier, Nets suffer from yards of Kyrie Irving.

Problem is, in that perfect basketball world AD shouldn't have signed with LA, so I don't know if something like that exists.

I think I finally figured out the rhythm of these threads:

Optimism around Knicks signing a FA(s)
Baseless RealGM fan speculation around which player, scenarios etc
Twitter rumors appear
Wild speculation about how the Knicks are going to lose out completely
Crushing defeatism for 15 pages
Revert to bashing\hyping the youth (mostly bashing)

Repeat cycle (about 20 times so far)

Sometimes the cycle speeds up a bit

Cause I keep reading these trade scenarios that always seem to include him and I think he is a valued piece of our future.

Top offseason scenario:

Knicks sign Kawhi and Butler
KD resigns with the GSW, who do it so they don't get sued. He's never the same.
Nets renounce Russell and he signs with the Suns
Nets strike out in FA
Mavs sign Horford to that 140 million dollar deal and he quickly ages badly
No one trades with Houston; all season long Paul and Harden snipe at each other
Kyrie signs with Lakers, blood feud with Lebron starts at game 30
Boston has to resign Rozier at a higher rate after Kemba rejects them
Kemba stays in Charlotte

What am I missing?

What could Knox do?

Make fun of his lisp? Making double his salary? Playing more minutes than him?

It'd get personal.

Wasn’t anything free agent related, just the delay made Ice Cube misunderstand a question...nothing actually

i don't want kyrie on the lakers. lebron, kyrie and ad is another unbeatable team in the nba. the best thing happening in the nba is that you'll have no clear cut favorite next year. that happens and it's over. i would pick l.a. as the west favorites without kyrie but they're not unbeatable. with all 3 they kind of are.
