Knicks sign Kawhi and Butler
KD resigns with the GSW, who do it so they don't get sued. He's never the same.
Nets renounce Russell and he signs with the Suns
Nets strike out in FA
Mavs sign Horford to that 140 million dollar deal and he quickly ages badly
No one trades with Houston; all season long Paul and Harden snipe at each other
Kyrie signs with Lakers, blood feud with Lebron starts at game 30
Boston has to resign Rozier at a higher rate after Kemba rejects them
Kemba stays in Charlotte

What am I missing?

i don't want kyrie on the lakers. lebron, kyrie and ad is another unbeatable team in the nba. the best thing happening in the nba is that you'll have no clear cut favorite next year. that happens and it's over. i would pick l.a. as the west favorites without kyrie but they're not unbeatable. with all 3 they kind of are.

They'll win plenty of games. But when the main guy is 35, I think it's an issue. It's hard to truly dominate when the main guy you're relying on is up there in age. It doesn't usually happen.

If i was kd why would i want to play in the ugly barclay center inside of that arena look like somebody did big chit in there. That arena doesn't have enough parking spaces and its really hard to get over there the traffic is horrible on that side of town.

I honestly hope KD signs with the Nets instead. His contract is going to be just as bad as Amare's. There's no way he's going to be the same player ever again.

We are Knicks fans so we are used to thinking highly of ourselves and team -- despite our wins and losses recently -- but I will continue to go down with the ship in saying that I don't really buy KD to the Nets.

I'll only believe it when I see it and then whatever I guess.

I also think that if the Lakers want Kyrie, that's a very major threat to the Nets too.

Lets talk about another thing near and dear to our hearts. What teams would you like to see most screwed over in FA, both long and short term?

My list:

Boston
Lakers
Houston
Nets
Mavs

Mavs #1 since we have there picks

I love the fans that say they don’t want KD and Kyrie but seem to forget the Knicks won 17 games last season and should be thrilled if the Knicks can sign 2 max guys..the Knicks are in no position to be turning down players of that caliber if they want to join..

I think the Nets, Boston and lakers always make the hated list for Knicks fans but i don't care what Houston does and i actually have Dallas as my quiet team that ends up getting one of these really good players to go with KP and Doncic. It would suck cause it could hurt us for those two picks in 2021 and 2023 but i just see them getting a good player whether that be DLo, Vucevic, Randle, Kemba, J.Butler or someone else but they have a good culture over there with R.Carlisle and a good owner that players love in Cuban and then you got Doncic and KP.

I'd add the 76ers to that list. I hope they lose out on Jimmy and Tobias.

If the knicks get kd and kyrie then scott perry should send dsj to charlotte he will be 3 hours away from his hometown of fayettiville, nc. DSJ won't get mad if he got traded to charlotte he loves coming back to the state of north carolina plus if they loose kemba the hornets need a point guard asap.

I'd take Kyrie and pair him with Butler or Kawhi.

Not Durant. Sorry but it's not worth the risk signing someone coming off a serious Achilles injury/surgery, especially at his age. We should have learnt our lesson by now signing players coming off bad injuries.

They're both teasing us. This has been my contention. They know how bad we've been abused so they're making it look like all the other times so we'll appreciate it that much more. It will be a cathartic moment and we can all move on. That's my story and I'm sticking to it :)

If Kyrie gets signed by the Knicks, how many days before a NY beat reporter asks him a "Flat Earth" question?

Day 0 - the press conference?
Day 1?
Day 2 etc

I say the presser.

He's getting paid to be a character -- sort of like the schtick Stephen Colbert used to do when he was still on Comedy Central. I wouldn't buy an ounce of what he says as fact.
