lmao. He's not wrong. Pippen opens himself up to this when he says he could shut down anybody in today's game. Bruh was a buck-90 back then; that aint guarding Lebron today

Why do people listen to Arenas? Lol. The guy literally behaves like he's 11 years old.

LeBron would have chosen to play wide receiver in the NFL versus 1970's basketball.

At least then he gets to wear a helmet and pads.

Yea I thought of this too, that he was more like 220-230 probably. Hell, Jordan himself was 215-225 in his prime and on the Wizards more like 240.

Let's be fair.. Kidd is one of the most underrated defenders of all time. Especially later in his career he slowed a step but was still an EXTREMELY high IQ defender.

That disrespect to Rodman. :noway:
I bet prime Rodman would still average 14 rpg in today's league. I mean if Westbrook can get 10+ rpg then so can Rodman.

I do agree with the Lebron in '75 though - he'd wreck the league. I'm doubtful about the 15 chips although I'm sure that was hyperbole on Lou's part.

Yes.

So I'm guessing you never saw Pippen play, because Pippen was by far the superior defender. Lebron is not some ungaurdable force.

Pat Beverley at a generous 6'1" averaged 9 rpg PER 36 (8 overall) and had multiple 12+ rebound games vs the Warriors. So yea, obviously Rodman would obliterate these guys on the glass. Probably AVERAGE close to 20 rpg.

I don't think people realize (or they forget) how freakin' strong Dennis Rodman was. He didn't look it but he was one of the strongest pound for pound athletes I've ever seen. He could guard Shaq, Ewing and all the other large Centers as effectively as anyone in an era where almost every possession was played in the half court.

I dont get how so many people believe in the raptors, they have zero to chance to win it all.

In that 1 minute of listening to those 2 morons I could feel my brain cells dying. Pippen and Rodman would be small guards in this era? Couldn't guard anyone? The sad thing is they probably believe it.

Pippen would be a top 5 defender in today's game without question. This is silly. But it's Arenas after all. Rodman would still clean up the boards.
