I highly doubt Kawhi ends up a Laker.

That's not his MO

If Hahn is right I'm extremely impressed with the front office not just dropping their pants for KD because of his name. Do all the homework necessary before doing so and if you still don't feel good about it walk away

LeBron, AD, Magic (most likely) will all be there to suck his balls.

Magic is not allowed to be there per NBA rules

There is $470+mil in free cap money across the whole league which is more than the past two years combined so it's a great idea to not use any money on players that aren't top 3 free agents because there's more money than players. There's going to be so much overpaying for the talent it will cripple teams because of the money tied up in mediocre players.

Stay woke Perry!

If no injury, said there would be no KD to BK talk right now.

Is he stating this as opinion or....?

Sounds like facts. Said there’s pushback with some in the Knicks organization. Said KD’s camp putting word out about the Nets is the same play Melo did before his trade here. Where we were questioning the trade package and his team started claiming Nets would be his other option. Then when Melo got here & asked if he was willing to do play for the Nets, he said hell no. Said it’s all leverage.

I say it's still Toronto, clips,

Agreed. What makes the most sense is short term TOR deal and go to LAC down the road if TOR can keep a competitive team together as guys like Lowry, Gasol, Ibaka age. Who do they have that is young and good besides Siakim (Vanfleet!?!)
I was thinking along these lines. I just dont see Kawhi as accepting 2nd 3rd role especially after proving hes top 2 overall nba talent. Lebron is such a non competitor, its actually pretty amazing how beta he is.
I'm sorry but hes not even top 3 in goat convo for me.

Kawhi Lebron and AD while formidable is a dangerous team to build around. Golden state has shown us what can happen when your stars can go down and with Lebron being old and the other two having their share of problems staying on the court, could be a tragedy in the making.

Wouldn’t be surprised if honestly we walked away.

Also wouldn’t be surprised if we sign him.

Knicks are moving militant so it really depends on how bad they want KD vs how bad the Achilles injury is.

This is actually good because in previous regimes there would’ve only been sign the player, forget due diligence.

The Melo thing really is annoying. He forced the team to weaken itself just to get here sooner (and more money?). But that's on the team too. If you really break it down, no one we moved was ever great, but still solid players.

Don't want to detail the thread though. So...KL to Lakers...ok... sure. Really stepped it up from DLO...

So why did they need to clear a second max slot and trade away picks? Seems like a lot.

Honestly, KL really is the best option. Whatever it takes on him. Does he was KD, someone else? But I really don't think he comes.

Who would you have preferred: KD pre-injury or KL?
