He was never coming to the knicks come on. KD versus Lebron and AD. NY vs. LA. Hes from southern California and even if he wasn't whos picking NY over LA as a NBA player.

i've lived in both cities and i can easily say LA is 1/5th the city NYC is. besides the nice weather, its literally night and day.

with that being said, if hes from there then I can definitely understand the appeal of being home

Absolutely. I mean they already have 2 of the top 5 players in the league. Might as well hand them the championship

Kawhi going to the Lakers would be a major buzz kill.

Ive lived in both cities, and am a die hard knicks fan. Besides MSG and fan base, NY has no advantages. The food in LA is better, weather, quality of life, women. Players do things other than play basketball, thats why we havent signed a major free agent in 10 years and that was Amare who was a consolation prize.

If heaven is a conglomeration of ritzy pricy suburbs (north and west LA) and apocalyptic looking suburbs (east and south LA), all connected together by an incredibly inefficient and clogged highway system, with Beijing level air pollution and the superficial/fake/vapid instagram influencer and Kardashian types all around you (and dont get me started on the homeless population there)

.... then I'm now officially an atheist

I agree with women and weather. Food, definitely not. Quality of life is completely subjective but read my post above

Sign DLo, take on a bad contract to get a pick and tank 1 more year. Sign a few locker room guys like Crawford or Vince Carter. Slight work.

Zach Lowe wants the Knicks to sign DLo. I’m w him. Signing guys for 2 year deals is DUMB. I pray we’re smarter than this.

Rozier 2/35
Randle 2/41
DeAndre 1/14

Is what I’m expecting. I’ll be SICK

I think your referring to downtown LA where players dont live and most of population doesnt live. Players live in West LA/Manhattan Beach which are insanely nice. Would you rather live in a penthouse apartment in the city and have to deal with the NY media, and fans bothering you every second having to stay inside half the year or LA next to the beach, with the hottest women in the country, people leaving you alone because there not as obsessive with sports. Thats the big factor you think kawhi wants to deal with the NY media and fans, guy doesn't like to talk.

Tell you what, if Dlo is a riser it's better to get him now while he's young. Additionally, I believe Dlo can take this group to the playoffs.

Dlo
Barret
Knox
Marcus Morris
Mitch

Won't affect the young core And still have money leftover...bring back and continue to develop Herzonja?

I'm with you on D-Lo + vets.

However, I don't think signing players to 2 year deals is necessarily dumb. What's dumb is handing out these contracts to players who don't fit basketball-wise and who'll stunt the development of our young players. Aka ball-dominant players or guys who can't shoot.

A two-year deal for Danny Green is smart. A two-year deal for Randle or Boogie is dumb.
