I wouldn't pay Vuc anything more than $ ___ Million per year on his next 4 year contract.

The fans are already penciling him in to the Lakers for 10m a year. Not sure he'd take a pay cut to play there.

"The fans" will always pencil players as going to the Lakers, Celtics, or Knicks. It's BS until FA starts. TRoss seems like he's like to stay here based on his social media

I went with 25M per as well. If it rises more than that, then I want a team option instead of a player option in the final year. We need to see what the market is of course, but I don't think he'll get more than that. We need to keep our own talent since no one is banging down our doors to come here. If you can't be with the one you love, then love the one you're with.

Any chance a team without the space would have mutual interest for Vuc? A sign n trade gaining an asset would be ideal.

Read on Twitter

Without Horford and Kyrie, plus renouncing all their free agents except for Rozier and Theis, Boston will have approximately $18m in cap space.

Boston will take Herro at 14 and tell Rozier’s overrated ass bye bye. Clear another 9M in Cap Space

Herro can play PG now? Rozier is their Kyrie replacement.

EVEN if they renounce Rozier, that still only creates $27m in cap space. That's to replace 3 of last season's starters (Horford, Kyrie, Morris) + Rozier who played 2k minutes - often with starters. Good luck with that.

They can put Herro and Marcus Smart in the same back court.

Boston going be players for Vuc with big Al gone in Boston now?
The hero Orlando deserves is out there somewhere, Dwight was not the one we needed. So we will hunt for him...

I dont think so, it seems they want another type of center (Capela).

IMO, this is not issue of average $$ per year, but more important is actual salary in year 3 and 4 as they affect his trade value at that point.

My breaking point in year 3 would be salary of $23M.

This means I could be OK with following contracts, depending on how we structure the deal:
- $96M / 4 years on decreasing contract (27/25/23/21)
- $92M / 4 years with equal $23M per year
- $80M / 4 years on increasing contract (17/19/21/23)

I strongly believe option 1 (decreasing contract) would be in best interest of both parties, but some team might offer better contract, though it shouldn't be by much (unless some GM loses his mind).

Only the 21M folks, 18 votes, seem to be unhappy.

I'd say folks that don't want him resigned at all are unhappy. Still, nothing has been agreed yet, this is only rumored position of our FO at the beginning of FA.

My breaking point is signing Vuc for ANY amount of money. I think those dollars are best spent elsewhere. Resign Ross and make a strong play for Russell. I think getting Okeke was a real steal. He was high on my list. If some of you are disappointed with the pick I think Okeke will make believers out of you.
THAT'LL BE THE DAY!
