Well first of all, I never said I would become a Nets fan, so I have no idea why you typed that. Just because I"m disappointed so far, doesn't mean I will abandoned the team. When was the last time the Knicks had a winning season? And I'm still here. I can't become a Nets fan, it's not like a light switch. I will always be a Knicks fan. NO one can tell me whether I'm a real Knicks fan or not. If I choose not to watch the Knicks next season, it means I'm very disappointed with their decision making, it doesn't mean I will no longer be a Knicks fan.

You sound like an extremely histrionic poster.

Whatever happened to the idea of rebuilding the right way? We're only 1 and a half seasons into a proper rebuild and posters like you are speaking in such an apocalyptic, doom and gloom manner.

And we don't need all our young guys to develop into all stars (would be nice) in order for them to not be considered failures as you so eloquently put it, they just need to keep developing and improve on their flaws. Rome wasn't built in a day.

Stop assuming and start knowing. Come back and tell me it's not that serious if Kawhi sign with the Lakers. Come back and tell me it's not that serious if the Lakers win a championship next season while your favorite Knicks player are part of the crowed watching them celebrate, while you watch from your couch. Who cares what I sound like, what matter is if I'm right or wrong. Building through the draft is always a good thing to do, but when you have a chance to use the good assets you acquired and trade some of them in for a star player, then you do it because stars attract other stars. You keep building the right away until you are able to sign star players.

I’ll be surprised if Kawhi passes on LAC. They have a nice foundation, and a win ready team. It’s not like KD is healthy otherwise I would definitely see it happening.

The only reason why I would say I think there’s a good chance KD comes here with Kawhi is it wouldn’t have made any sense for KD to sell his Malibu home if he’s going back to LA.

It’s about an hour drive from Malibu to the Staples Center, literally no point in selling his home.

I’ve been thinking it was gonna be this for a while and with KD going down with his injury Kawhi was the first person who popped up in my mind who could relate to him.

All this Nets/Lakers **** is just for show and for the weak to get intimidated.

It’s down to the Clippers and us wherever KD & Kawhi are going, the Raptors are out the picture for Kiwi.

While I'm really hoping you're right, I can't figure out why, if that truly is their master plan, Kawhi wouldn't just do a 1+1 with TOR while KD signs with the Knicks in order to hedge some really bad odds with Durant's achilles.

Unless he just doesn't want TOR bottom line.

DLo is THJr part 2 as well

DLo is an All Star who lead his team to the playoffs and proved, even if it was just one year (he's still only 23) that he's capable of carrying the weight. Tell me when has THJ ever carried his team anywhere as the main guy? DLo is closer to Kyrie than he is to THJ

One all star game, as a replacement. We don't need to get into the list of "ok" players who made an allstar team.

DLo COULD be worth every penny. It's a risk. It's a similar risk to Randle. They both could be THJr 2.0. Or both not.

We cant compare THJr with Randle or DLo

Everybody was chocked by our 72M offer sheet for Tim. It was a really an above market offer for a 6th player from an average team who was in GLeague in the prior year.

Problem with that rumor is KL will choose LA if it comes down to us and Clips. Durant knowing him probably wants some assurance there will be another star with him. Don’t agree Clips have a more attractive core though. They have a great six man and a coach players love.
