How beautiful would it be?....KD & Kawhi here...then Kyrie decides to just sign with the Lakers.
Leaving the Nets assed out.

Kawhi and KD would erase the last 20 years of Knick fandom, I’m so ready.

Broke my foot. So no work, and bed ridden. Couldn’t have picked a more perfect time to break my leg :)

Maybe next year but not long term. Butler,Kawhi and Barrett would all need minutes between SG/SF and KD would have to play only PF in that situation. Could be wrong but I think it's a bit tight.

You worry about that when time comes. Barrett needs to establish himself first. But between load management and creative lineups there will be plenty of opportunities.

BEGLEY:

Per SNY's Ian Begley, the Knicks are firmly in play for Durant while people around Leonard have viewed the Knicks as a possible destination for the NBA Finals MVP.

The two free agents are expected to meet with both teams, along with several others once free agency begins at 6 p.m. on Sunday, but both the Clippers and Knicks have the salary cap space and interest to sign both players.

I think you can start Frank with those 2 and not miss a beat. Plus Dennis would thrive too.

Most of the major cities having a better distribution of star talent. This would be the NBAs absolute dream scenario for ratings.

maybe we'll still tank and give kawhi a heavy load management year. would he really take a year off to wait for kd when he could win another championship next year. i still don't see it. would love to be wrong though.

kawhi playing and KD on the bench could get knicks to the playoffs. and if KD is ready for the playoffs, the knicks could win the title.
RIP magnumt

thanks for everything, thibs.

He'd be dealt anyway and who cares  I don't think a sign and trade with Butler is realistic, but didn't we have a deal for Beal in place and agreed on earlier and planned to send him to New Orleans in turn?

So Begley is basically saying we meet with Kawhi tomorrow.. I'm so confused
