KL is so good though, he could carry a team. What if KL wins a finals without KD or just do great without him. Unlikely, but once again, that makes KD look bad.

This is also why I would def still take Durant on your own. It'll be easier to find another star and build a team once he is on board. Then can hope RJ, our other young guys and future picks develops into a complimentary pieces

News like this shows the team is in good hands. Last time we had major cap space Knicks couldn't get meeting with the big guys.

Now we got some lined up with the biggest in the game. The willingness to listen is something to notice regardless of outcome.

Maybe KD to the Knicks is done, and he's trying to get somebody with him. KL obviously being #1.

It'd be a hard pitch to get KL to come here, when you will miss the entire first year yourself due to a serious injury.

Just speculating here, obviously.
