It got nothing to do with DLo, you're just so keen on this dude being part of the rotation that you shyt on every replacement then come back later on talking about how Frank needs to be in the rotation. That's your pattern, take a crap on every potential guard we would bring in but then make sure you tell us how Frank needs to be in the rotation no matter what team we have, tanking or contending. I don't care about his salary, you still bringing that up. He costs 5 mil, that aint cheap for his production or lack thereof. He's getting paid 5 mil so we can teach him how to shoot? How to have confidence? How to play basketball? We are paying him so we can teach him all that? That's cheap? Who is that cheap for?
Assumption d*chebag.
I've stated multiple times he's probably a backup. All I've ever stated is that he's still young, so he could improve. Same for DSJr. Same for DLo, actually.
There's no "pattern". Only the one you've created in your head. At the point the Knicks got DSJr, I'm ok with him being the PG.
Oh, sorry I didn't slurp Trey Burke. You know, like me and half the board.
I liked Trier though. Gee.....
Now the Knicks have DSJr, for cheap. I think DLo is a bit of a risk for 23 million and 4 years. That's it. It's not "sh*tting on him".
And don't try to mix up the argument. Frank MIGHT suck at 5 million, but 5 million is 5 million and not 10 or 15 or 20 or 23 million. It's about cost. And FUTURE flexibility. This stuff gets covered enough. Draft the young players. Try them. Give them a 2-3 years - might even take longer for some - but the team might not be able to abide, and then either resign them to their WORTH, or cut ties before they become a cap hit and keep on drafting. Which the Knicks should be able to do, with 6 first round picks in 4 years. So, necessarily, Frank OR Knox OR DSJr or all 3 - don't have to work out.
DLo would be a signing where he BETTER work out. He'd be half the team's "big two", as teams generally afford 2 max contracts, correct? I guess the really slick ones fit in a 3rd, so it's possible.
Risk vs money vs future flexibility. Frank has nothing to do with it.
