They can keep Theis' cap hold and still have max space. Rozier, thank Lord, will have to be let go. They can remove his QO until July 15th I believe, which they will do after Kemba officially says yes.

Since the two-way deals came into NBA, guys picked 50+ rarely got a standard NBA deal. Maybe C's rate Waters higher than a late 2nd round pick, but I wouldn't be surprised if he's a two-way guy.

We need the Pelicans to co-operate and its quite easy:

We S&T Horford to Pelicans. CHA S&Ts Kemba to us. We then S&T Rozier to Charlotte, who they absorb through their new trade exception from the Kemba S&T.

I was surprised by his play last season, but if we are keeping Brown, we need to go all in on Kemba, Hayward, Brown, and Tatum. They need their shots.

Yeah, that's complete bull lol. No one's buying that. Trading Kyrie for Kemba straight up would have been an absurd move before we knew for a fact he was gone. This is like when every GM comes out after the draft and says they got the guy they wanted all along.

I think the concern around Irving would have been the knee and whether he was going to re-sign. That is the funny part about Irving is that his a-hole behavior and return to All NBA play overshadowed the concern about him being able to hold up physically (at that he only played 67 games missing twice as many games in a season as Walker has over the last 4 seasons. The way this has played out so quickly is that Walker had to have gotten word to Boston he wanted to be there.

They can potentially keep everyone that mattered except Mirotic obviously. All depends on what Middleton, Lopez, and Hill do as UFAs.

Key is Brogdon. Someone is gonna screw them if they really want Brogdon. TBH if Sixers lose Butler he would be such a good fit and that would royally screw Mil as one of ECF main competitors

Doesn't matter, he can't officially sign until July 6th so Kemba agreeing to sign here allows us to pull the offer before he can legally sign in Boston
