Slow down there Buckeroo.
Rozier and Morris aren't out the door, yet.

I just thought we had to renounce all those guys to get the cap to make a Kemba signing possible?

Can you elaborate on "effectively dead?" As in, no way Brooklyn would play ball? Or?

When the CBA nuked the ability for players to get an extra year via S&T I killed a majority of the incentive on the player's end to push for one...and unfortunately it ends up meaning teams don't play ball and it's rare to see one get done. I don't see what Brooklyn would gain. They have plenty of cap space

Would Bucks pick do it?

I get they don't want to help a competitor, but it's a free 1st round pick.

David Stern gonna come out of his coffin, just to fine us and take away a few draft picks for this.

Dedmon should be the target now, his shooting range should continue to improve and he got lost on a very bad Hawks team last year. He can play and defend p+r and spread the floor for 25+ mins. An absolute steal for under 5 per. Someone name something Looney does better

The next step is for Jaylen Brown and Jason Tatum to step up. They thought it should have been their time last year, well, now it is.

Money to mouth time.

Also, people shouldn’t sleep on GH.

Kemba replaced Irving
Morris and Rozier are addition br subtraction. Let Hayward take those chuckers shots
Al is a big loss

I wont miss any of those players.

But everyone of them could of brought back value in trades and it blows to see that mismanaged so badly.

Kemba is a good start but I hope its not the entirety of what we do tomororw.

Any word on cap?

I don't think Kemba is in the bag. MJ just needs to come through with the $$$. Will he? Probably not, but you never know.

If we dont address the center position then yea, we could theoretically be worse than last year.

Back from my hiatus, how does Kemba work cap wise? We need to renounce anyone?

So the solution is to start Rozier and hope he somehow gets as good as Kemba?

Yah. Pass.

26 hours before Celtics are allowed to talk with Kemba, he already informed Hornets he's going to Boston. Who is leaking this out? For real, if Charlotte complains to the NBA, no way Celtics can explain this.

I think after the misery Wyc and co. went through last season, the $50,000 fine won't be too big of a deal.

I know, but IMO this is done by someone trying to hurt the Celtics. Both Boston and Kemba have zero incentive to not keep this for themselves until June 30th, 6pm. All the other reported deals are about players resigning with their current teams: Klay, Porzingis, Vucevic...

Maybe I'm overreacting, but if Jordan is hurt, he can easily make a big fuss about it. Eventhough, every team does this, it's unprecedented to have mainstream reports on June 25th about a guy signing with another team.
