I wouldn’t mind Butler coming here, but we’re going to need another star here to pair with him, Jimmy B, and the kids ain’t taking us no where.

My plan that I would rather see come to fruition is find a way to get Wiggins, while dumping Dragic and Whiteside, and go after Giannis with a core of:

Winslow
J-Rich
Herro
DJJ
Wiggins
Bam

Young, long, athletic, defensive minded core.

JJ Redick has a 6'3 wingspan but never have i heard him been called a T Rex. I know he tears us up like a T Rex whenever we face him

Offensively, a player can adjust their shot to compensate for lack of length. The main issue with length factors into defensive play.

Let’s look at the wingspan for the 4 guards selected to all defense team this year:

Jrue Holiday 6’7
Eric Bledsoe 6’8
Klay Thompson 6’9
Marcus Smart 6’9

We have enough wingspan and defensive minded players on this team to offset any length short comings that Herro may have. He's a guard who's most likely going to cover the PG when Winslow is on the floor. I think the whole wingspan thing when it comes to Herro has been completely blown out of proportion. Just something to comfort the folks who did not get the favorite player they stanned for all pre draft season.
