They ended up on the same couch the Knicks were on by June though.

He did in Memphis. Still managed to alienate the whole team, and get himself fired.

Sounds like a reach. The team stunk after he left. The management chose 1 player over winning with Fiz. That same player got traded a year later to a championship team.

It's more of a reach to compare one coach that has made the playoffs 5 out of 6 years, and another that has a career record of 67-116.

“I’m a Knick fan. I grew up in NYC [Upper West Side’], but I’m a fan of whatever team KD’s on. My No. 1 team in New York City is the Giants … and St. John’s. I’m a big-time Met fan and I have a lot of respect for Brodie”

Meh - would rather just roll it over at that point... take on salary for a future pick...

Let's keep our expectations low and let the FO keep building around our young players. We're just not ready. Maybe in 3 or 4 years we will be, and that's alright.

100% this. I never thought we were getting KD or Kawhi, and didn't want Kyrie without KD or Kawhi. Butler and/or Kemba would have been nice in theory, but we were never even rumored to have a chance for either. So be it.

We have the beginnings of a decent young core now, not to mention have a bunch of picks and huge amounts of cap space moving forward. The only additional thing I want/expect from Knicks management this summer: don't **** it up. No panic signings, and no trades for other people's garbage (unless it's an expiring).

he's an energy big and a really good one at that. You really think he can be a "starting" center in the NBA?

that was my point. He has limitations which wont let him start against bigger guys. Off the bench he's great where positions don't matter because there aren't many backup legit bigs so his lack of size is irrelevant.

If you have a KP at the 4, you can start him. Other than that type of player, he’s an elite 6th man.

kawhi would go from one of the most beloved now to most hated player if he joined the lakers. seriously. he could go anywhere else and it would be ok. go there and you're gonna be number one on the hit list.

yes but KP is technically the 5 because he will be used for rebounding and rim protection. Two things harrell struggles in especially if we was tasked to defend and play against 7 footers all game

I'm down for no salary cap, especially when there are owners like MJ down there is Charlotte refusing to pay out.

Why 17 times

cause Sark is unwavering and relenting with his view

MJ not scared to pay. You see how much he threw at Batum Marvin Zeller? YIKES. They’re just not good enough to go in lux tax for.
