Why British?

I don't know if I've ever met a British NBA fan. Other international countries yeah but never from Britain/England. Do they even produce NBA talent over there?

They lied to him about his injury and then Iggy came out and said they lied to him about his injury in the past too.

I sincerely doubt he's heading back to GSW because Steph asks nice.

I don't know anymore than you do, but my instinct is it is complete and utter BS.

I don't believe GS would have risked his health like that. It sounds ridiculous frankly

So do you also believe Iguodala is lying about being told he had a bone bruise in his leg when it was actually broken?

Idk. I read a story the other day about Durant thinking really hard about filing a lawsuit against GS. Wouldn't think he would resign with them if he's feeling that way about them.

Brutal truth is KD is as much at fault as anyone from GS could be. And unless KD is really that lame, he is going to accept his role in his own injury. If he sues GS he'll frigging lose anyway and look dumb for doing it and I doubt it will ever happen. More likely they kiss and make up whether or not that means they say together.

And I can easily see Steph saying "Fam, Klay is in, I'm never leaving and when you get back we're going to take back what's ours" and I can see it working.

I agree with all that. The story came from the lawyer guru from ESPN

Imagine if there was this team that had two max slots available and two meetings scheduled with KD and Kahwi and not one reporter even mentions that team?

I think KD and Kawhi talking about playing together is not for now but for 2020.
Kawhi stays in Toronto 1 year. Durant comes to New York. Kawhi joins him in 2020.

I don't believe he would be lied to about a break like that. No. Maybe there are competence issues, I don't know, but I don't believe there is that level of malfeasance.

Not sure about that, nothing is guaranteed, as Hahn has said, Kawhi wants to get paid

I'm not sure incompetence is any more compelling than malfeasance.

Yes, it's legal hijinks probably. I think the public is a bit too gullible these days. Various parties manipulate fans to gain leverage towards their desired outcome.

It is vastly different when it comes to liability.

When it comes to trust, there is still a difference between distrust in competence vs. being willfully betrayed. All I'm saying is the betrayal aspect is being stoked by rumors and I call BS.

If Kawhi comes and holds it down for a year

Smith Jr/Hill/Frank
Trier/Ellington
Kawhi/Barrett
Morris
Robinson.

That team could win 45 games
