It's something, but not enough because the salaries of the 25%-, 30%- and 35%-UFAs go up and so does RJ's salary and the VRC.

So the Knicks are still $100,255 short of being able to retain Frank, Kevin, Dennis, Mitch, Zo, RJ and Dotson and still be able to sign Durant and a 30%-UFA. That is either Durant and the 30% would have to give up $100k a year between them or one of the seven above have to go.

If the Knicks go for anyone other than Durant then they are fine (and get to keep Ellenson as well if they so choose).

(As per my other thread: all of Garrett, Jenkins, Hicks, Kornet, Mudiay, Thomas, Jordan, Hezonja, Vonleh are now off the books)
