The only reason to be interested in O'Quinn is if we were moving Bamba in a big trade and that seems unlikely right now. Think it's just kennedy being lied to by o'quinn's team or he's just doing his guy a favor.

We are really about to run back essentially the same roster minus Ross/Birch. This team minus those players last year would have been a 10th seed or worse. Not looking good for next season.

Let's wait to see what Ross does before we declare him gone...

How about SnT with Birch and something for Rozier? (as long as Rozier can be signed to a reasonable deal)

Why would he take the MLE from us? Some team out there is bound to give him something in the 15 mill range. I guess it depends on where some of the free agents land, but Philly and the Clippers seem like obvious destinations if they strike out on big names.

What are you talking about? We have his rights and can pay him 15m if we want to... we'd still have the MLE as well.

WeHam putting all their marbles into the recovery and development of Fultz and Bamba.
If they don’t reach their potential, we will have a new front office and another rebuild in 2 years
Orlando Magic are BACK!!!

What is our cap situation if the 4yr 100 million dollar offer is true? I was thinking a deal like that would send us into the luxury tax.

Nope, we can sign vuc to 25m and sign ross for 15m and still stay under the tax. Birch obviously can't be retained though.

Is it normal for a free agent in ross' tier to not be meeting with teams on free agency day? I mean he's not a big fish, but he's a damn good player with decent demand and plenty of money involved. Would his agent really handle all the meetings by himself if ross was seriously considering leaving? Feels like we're headed to a re-signing...

What's the issue with luxury tax? Has our management said that they don't want to pay it? Never heard a report about it. DeVos didn't care, not sure if the children or whatever will care either.

I guess it's assumed no team would go into the tax for a 42 win team without a superstar...

Not sure, Cavs has 134M commited for next season and will tank hard.

I have not looked into it, but aren't the Cavs in the tax because they got there from when lebron was there?

He turned the hat around to show the logo, too. I'm leaning towards him staying now, but if he is leaving then this is just cruel...

He probably knows already and no way he'd wear that hat if he wasn't coming back. He's always carried himself with class.
