I have to admit that I'm dreaming Dlo + JJ
"...I want to compliment him, we all expected that he would take up the game, we have prepared the plan race on him, we have doubled. And, as usual, he did what he wanted..."

You won't have to, I put in a request to Howard. The Timberwolves forum is generally pretty lenient (none of us like booting people off, chippy posts just kind of happen), but that was a step too far and he's done it over on the General Board as well.

All that aside, only four more hours until Minnesota can officially have a meeting with D'Angelo Russell; I am extremely excited. I get some people are skeptical of D'Angelo, but everyone has got to go into this with an open mind, because I am telling you, him and Towns are going to be insane in pick-and-roll/pop game, it is going to be crazy.

I think we’re good there because Russell met with us.

1. Nets need to have a second max player they like more than Russell.

2. Russell has to want to come here.

My concerns.

I meant the move to clear cap to get Russell

If they sign Kyrie I don't think they will wait to renounce Russell or work out a s&t

I think they may wait a bit, but as soon as they find a player they want the space for they renounce.

It's probably worked out already pending Russell's acceptance. On the other hand wouldn't it be crazy if Rubio came back.

The only thing we are waiting for is Russell to say "I want to join the Wolves"

I believe Rosas has something locked and ready to go as far as trades based on the talk of Minnesota being "up to something"

The 1 and only thing we have going for us is that KAT and DLO are boys because the Laker situation to play with Bron and AD + live in LA again and compete for championships NOW honestly sounds like a better situation, but we just have to hope DLO envisions him and KAT growing into the best duo in the game

They already renounced on him. The Nets cant match now (or sign him above the cap, but Im not sure about this).
They still can S&T him if they have sheer cap space. The problem would be if they need to use the cap space on a 2nd max right away, but I think the league is flexible on this and no deal can be signed before the moratorium ends.

Minnesota is at the top of D'Angelo Russell's free-agent wish list as the opening bell nears, league sources say -- with the Timberwolves increasingly confident they can make the necessary salary-cap moves to land him

The Lakers' interest in D'Angelo Russell is undeniable, league sources say, but Minnesota has made the All-Star guard its top priority in free agency knowing that the Nets mere hours away from the momentous addition of Kyrie Irving

If the Lakers underperform for lack of quality depth, who is going to take the hit?
Its the perfect situation to be roasted for 2nd time.

I haven't seen the announcement that they renounced him but just that they are expected to. Regardless, they can't officially sign anyone until July 6th so at that time they just have to s&t Russell b4 signing any of their other free agents

The only question now does Nets play ball with Twolves directly with a S&T or does a 3rd team come into play in accepting some of Twolves assets (Teague + others)?

And of course what 3rd team would that be?...Kings?...Knicks?

Nets don't want salary back so there has to be a 3rd team
