If Kawhi wants to play in LA I truly hope it will be Clippers not fcuking Lakers.
But Masai has awesome relationship and trust bond with both Uncle Dennis and Kawhi. So unless Kawhi wants to join Lakers circus I still think he stays in Toronto, probably only for a year or two and then he will come to LA.
With that being said and other rumors Kemba to Celtics, Kyrie to Nets KD to Nets/Knicks Thompson resigning with GSW..what is your plan B if you dont land Kawhi?? Serious question as I dont see any other big name available to you guys this year..

Here we go! Let Free Agency begin. Curious to see if there will be any tampering violations with all these early signing announcements.

Hoping this David Pingalore guy has some credibility to his name because he keeps harping that his “source” continues to tell him Kawhi to LAC!

Here is the problem with all the people saying KL here. KD there. Butler here, etc. How can they know for sure? They can hear how someone may be leaning but the players dont even know yet. If they knew for sure they would not waste their time nor others times with a half dozen meetings.

If Ping knew KL was coming here for sure than the Clippers management would likely know.

People are making educated guesses.

I wonder if Kawhi will make a decision today, or whether it will drag on until next week... I can't stop refreshing Realgm and hoping some new tidbit pops up... So many contradicting tweets, it's crazy...

Ive heard Kawhi is locked in with the Lakers. Guy I trust, who has good sources connected to the Lakers, saying Lakers fans are going to be very happy. Same guy said its between the Lakers and the Raptors.

Hes got really good connections, but was also clamoring about the AD deal being done at the deadline.

I said I thought KD could change the entire landscape of what people think could happen. He brushed that off as if its not happening.

We'll see what actually happens, but just passing along what ive heard. I dont believe its anywhere near as certain as hes making it sound though.
Plus, why would I want to go to the NBA? Duke players suck in the pros.

Same old Clippers. Of course the worst-case scenario is what's going to happen. :nonono:

Means nothing. Manny Machado followed a ton of Yankee players during MLB FA. Machado literally couldn't be playing farther away from NY.

Whoa, this changes things:

If the Lakers are trying to get into the Jimmy race, that's probably a sign that they know they're not getting Kawhi... right?

Well, it's just that the Yankees didn't come through with their end.

You have to think the Knicks would.

You sign KD (who I thought was incredible pre injury) to a 4 year $164 mill max deal. How many healthy years are you hoping for? If you say 2 is that like paying him $82 mill a year?

Hed be worth it for the Nets even if hes 75% of peak Durant.

I think KD is awesome. Don't take my question as a slight on him but is 75% of his stats worth 82 mill a year? Or if he plays 3 years make that 61 mill a year.

Either. They have literally taken over New York.

Sean Marks is a beast.

Terry Rozier is going to get almost 20 mill a year? This is shocking.
Lou, Trezz and even Gallo will look like bargains when this FA is over.

Trezz will be looking to make it to next offseason as healthy as possible if you know what I mean.
