Yup. Only way Charlotte can absorb Wiggins is by stretching at least one big contract and I’m not even sure they’ll have room if they do that since they agreed with Rozier.

I still could see Charlotte being a Wiggins home for Batum. But that can’t be the deal to open space for Russell.

There is no way we get cap space unless Knicks wanna do something stupid for us..

I cant think of a team that would gladly take Wiggs or Teague & Gorgui unless we give them like 3 unprotected 1sts

If the Nets don't get a 2nd Max player along with Irving, I'd personally rather have Russell than Kyrie if I were them. I'm so NOT a fan of Irving and the negativity and selfishness he brings to a locker room.

On a different note, if Kawhi teams up with Durant on the Clippers, that will be a talented roster blended with youth and proven veterans.

Teague and Gorgui would actually be great fits for PHO. I don't think the cost would need to be more than one FRP but what do I know.

i think theres way more chance of trading dieng and teague since both contracts are gone in the next 2 years and they are good trade bates too look for some team wanting to rebuild next season
teams supporting
NBA-Minnesota t-wolves
NHL-Toronto Mapleleafs
NFL-Miami Dolphins
MLB-???

We only need to trade teague and about $3m - $4m in a s&t. We just need a 3rd team to take teague and okogie or culver

Perhaps they can throw part of their 2,667,600 trade exception as part of any deal?

I doubt it's Charlotte, they would have gotten more value in S&T for Walker > Russell. MJ wants to shed contracts/salary not add.

They low balled Walker.

I think it's Memphis who have a need at SG where Minnesota traded up to pass on a PG prospect to target Culver. People will claim he was clear BPA but why not trade up with Cavs who now have 2 PG's, for Garland?.

In a market where Conley would have value if teams strike out. Memphis traded him pre draft mainly for cap space & the 23rd pick.

They created a 25m TPE, have 2 non guaranteed contracts that total 14m & like I said have a need at SG & for assets kicking off a rebuild.

Memphis trade - (19m TPE) for (Teague)
Memphis trade - (Crowder 7.8m, Korver 7.6m/3m Guranteed, K. Anderson 9m) for (Wiggins, Culver, FRP)

- sheds 30m
- Crowder is a 3&D stretch SF/PF that can replace losing Saric
- K.Anderson is also a young 3&D wing that's not suited for the pace Memphis intends to play at. With Crowder expiring, Korver bought out. Andersons 9m contract is the only committed salary Minnesota is taking back in 46m heading out. Wiggins 4yrs/120m

I think Culver & FRP is fair value for 46m heading out (Wiggins/Teague), for something like 9m committed coming in (K.Anderson) + Russell + future cap flexibility.

You can say that as much as you want but it's still a possibility

Culver has a 5m cap hold.

Minnesota are -7 in practical cap space. Teague's 19m + 3-4m = 22-23m -7m = 16m practical cap space where Minnesota need 27m.

I think Minnesota is going to trade Culver's cap hold as value in trade for that additional 5m = -2 in practical cap space.

at -2 practical cap space, Minnesota would need to shed 29m for the necessary 27m max

Wiggins + Teague + Culver + incentive/s

I would be sad if Culver is part of any trades.

I seriously doubt Rosas gave up 2 assets for Culver only to trade him 2 weeks later.

In a s&t we only need $22m-$23m going out. We don't need to match the entire $27m unless we are signing him straight up

I doubt Culver is going out. I think there’s a good chance we lose Okogie and a FRP though. I feel like Teague/Okogie will go out in sign and trade for Russell. Then, in a separate deal, will deal Wiggins for a shorter bad contracts (Parsons, Batum, etc.).

It will most likely be teague/okogie or teague/Culver. Depending on which the 3rd team would rather have. I don't think we will need to throw in a frp.

I hope they hold onto Wiggins, at least for this year.
