By signing middling players to crazy contracts, the Hornets shot themselves on one foot. By not offering Walker the contract he probably earned, they shot themselves on the other foot. Then comes this news about Rozier -- they just have their nuts left to shoot and BAM!

It also assumes they can get rid of their trash contracts without giving up any assets. If it happened, which is almost impossible, their roster would be utter trash after the top 3.

The Nets don't have Porzingis, a top 5 pick and aren't getting KD, though.

The Knicks could also easily liquidate Hardaway and Lee, IMO. Trading Hardaway would probably even land them a pick in the process.

If we are being fair, I did relay that I was told KD had changed his mind and was heading to BKN like a day or two ago.

I have zero clue how we could manage to bring Al back, presuming he wants more than the MLE. This sounds like an attempt to appease fans more than anything else.

I feel conflicted saying this, but I don't really want Al back unless he is willing to accept way less than he can get elsewhere. Let him sign a max in Sac-town or a near-max in NO and all parties can benefit in the long run.
