As long as this is with the view that Oladipo is our primary ball handler more often, I’m on board.

That's even better than Rubio. 85M for 4 years, even that seems a good deal to me.

Not much he can't do, welcome Brogdon :)

Yeah, like him in much the same role I liked D’Angelo Russell. But Brogdon comes a bit cheaper financially. Just had to give up a future 1st to get him.

No one can accuse the Pacers of being cheap on that one. Over $20M per year plus sending a fist round pick and a couple seconds. That's kinda bold.

I know there have been a number of Pacer fans clamoring for him, now we will see if they were right. I hope so.

EDIT: I just looked up his stats. My gosh! This guy can shoot the lights out. Past year % numbers were 50/40/90 (FG, 3PT, FT) and he isn't off from that by much for his career. WOW!

It seems it was either Rubio or Brogdon and we went Brogdon. Happy we did - think his role fits much better and is overall a better player. From an efficiency standpoint, Brogdon shoots and scores the ball far better than Rubio ever has. Brogdon's 57.5% eFG% is nice to look at. And 40% from 3. I think he makes a lot of sense next to Oladipo.

His games played is a bit concerning. He's missed plenty of time, but I like this move.

Wow.

Brogdon, picking up one of the few players in history to put up 50/40/90 and Lamb who's a really good piece.

Great job guys. Idk how good you are but my first thoughts are a version of Trailblazers and potentially better.

If Kawhi leaves, you def have a shot at the finals next year.

Happy for you.

One thing I do like: taking a good player away from a team you're likely to see in the playoffs.

Wow. This came out of nowhere. I will say that I am a fan of every player we acquired this off-season so this has me amped. I have been a fan of Brogdon, Warren and Lamb from afar for years now. Cant wait to see Brogdon and Oladipo lock down backcourts. All three of them are capable of having huge games at anytime. And when you factor that they are being added to Myles, Domas, Vic, Holiday. Not sure how good Goga is but I believe he might be a steal from all the stuff I have reading/watching about him. This will be an exciting season for sure.

Also leads to the point of whoever Indy is rumored to be after is usually not true. Always done a good job of keeping things under wraps.

PG: Malcolm / Holiday
SG: Dipo / Lamb / Sumner
SF: Warren / McDermott
PF: Sabonis
C : Turner / Goga

Who am I missing? How much cap space do we have left? What are some good options remaining? We need a backup 4 & 1 imo.

Cheick Diallo might be a sneaky good 4 to target.

Sucks to lose Bojan and Thad but I think the team will be much better especially when Vic is up to speed.

Here is me from 2016.

I wouldn't be upset if we just took Brogdon (or Valentine should he drop) at 20 and waited until 50 for a big. Could be a Killer B's draft with Brogdon and Bentil or Bolomboy ... Brice at 20 and buying into the top of the second for Brogdon works too.

The same draft thread talks about Lamb being shopped.
