I think KD is awesome. Don't take my question as a slight on him but is 75% of his stats worth 82 mill a year? Or if he plays 3 years make that 61 mill a year.

Yeah, the Warriors had no choice but to try to re-sign KD, because they don't have cap space for anyone else.

But for teams with cap space to sign him, knowing at most they only get 3 years out of him, it's a risk.

That first year back, in 2020-2021, he may not be 100%. He has to buck the odds like Dominique did and to a lesser extent, Rudy Gay, who's had a couple of good years after his Achilles but with a much more reduced role compared to before the injury.
