Have you even looked at the clippers roster dude? They have the 6th man of the year coming off the bench. They have harrell. They took the warriors to 6th games with a healthy Durant.

Notice that none of the info seems to be coming from the Celtics camp. There must be more to the story. No reason for the Cs to do a sign and trade unless they get a benefit from it. Charlotte cannot sign Rozier (or get a TPE) w/o a sign and trade. At the least we should get a draft pick and/or Hernangomez.

I think it's a sensible decision. It's impossible to know what version of Durant will return a year from now. The Celtics wouldn't have signed Hayward had he snapped his ankle playing for the Jazz, would they?

Yes and no....the knicks and Nets (more so the knicks) haven’t been relevant in a while. Taking the risk on Durant is a reward much better than anything else they have going on.

I do agree though...if I’m running either team, I’m hesitant to give Durant that payday.
