Celtics are going to fight for an 8 seed at best. signign kemba means rozier is gone and they have no bigs. its also still toxic there until brown is moved, which they may do for a bigman.

they lost all of their depth, their bigs, downgraded from kyrie to kemba and lost horford. im not worried about boston. plus once kahwi leaves toronto atlantic gets worse and knicks look to be striking out also

What did Brown do?

he didnt except his role and made huge waves of heyward playing over him. more then rozier/tatum he got an inflated ego from the ECF run. Boston can basically scrub the team of all issues (kyrie, rozier, brown) and get an NBA calibur big by trading brown. it be surprised if something didnt happen around capella and brown.

For all sides involved I like Jaylen brown to the Kings. And on the kings I really like pj tucker and Eric Gordon. Seems like with Sacramento committed to taking the next step that this would be the perfect team to get involved with this.

lol this is the same dude that said he would NEVER wear a Miami HEAT jersey , never say never ppl, life has a funny way of making you eat your words.

I think Dragic for Butler is fair, doubt Miami let go of Richardson. Philly needs a point guard anyway

If true, Jimmy is a really eccentric dude. I want to see him win, but he’s so funny that letting him do whatever he wants always seems to yield the best results lol.

Probably only a matter of time before Jimmy demands a trade.... weird he wants Miami.

If this happens today ... WOW

I might be the longest tenured Net REALGMer still active today (maybe 2-3 others are right before me). I have seen everything I thought I could possibly see in my 38 years. I have been through hell and back dozens of times with our horrible mismanagement decisions. But, this Marks and Atkinson duo with new ownership and an unreal strategy might actually steal NY!

This is unreal. I am staying calm until they sign. Keep the positive vibe boys!

It's so crazy that this actually happened. In the summer of 2010 I think we were all wishful that we'd get Lebron bc of Jay Z but immediately after it was obvious it was never going to happen.

Before that some may remember the early 2000's rumors about KMart + RJ for KG. And then the similar rumors about Shawn Marion as the final pieces to get over the hump with Kidd.

The DWill trade and decision to resign were exciting at the time but obviously the follow-up moves were highly flawed, and he himself was highly flawed.

Maybe this is history repeating and KD won't be the same because of the achillies and Kyrie will be DWill part 2 - but even if it is this still seems like a big step forward because both players chose to come here. It wasn't a trade, nothing needed to be gutted, they saw what Marks has been building and bought in willingly.

I got family in Toronto, so I’m usually there 3-4 times a year for a few weeks in total.

Seeing Kawhi lead the Raptors has been hard for me because I wanted him on the Nets but I have much love and respect for TO. I always felt conflicted lol.

I’ve been to two Nets-Raptors games in the last few years before the Kawhi trade. If he stays, I probably won’t be able to afford those tickets now. Raps-Nets matchups are about to be so lit. I can’t wait.

What an offseason.... two top 10 players including arguably the leagues best players chose to come here. not only that, they chose us over the lakers and knicks. chose us over playing with lebron or kawhi.

banner day for the Nets.

and what no one is talking about, unlike most situations were multiple stars teamed up, the nets have a TON of role players and depth. We have shooters, we have bigs, we have ball handlers. we can put the leagues best 3 point shooter next to kyrie and durant. we can put allen who was 7th in dunks next to them to finish offf the attention they draw. we have levert to do damange when those guys rest. we have dinwiddie off the bench, we have kurucs who is great off the ball, another lights out shooter in prince.

we basically added durant to a 45 win core that upgraded from russell to durant.

unreal.

Kyrie | Harris | Levert | Durant | Allen
Dinwiddie | Musa | Prince | Kurucs | Deandre

what about philly adding Horford and Richardson ? those are 2 good additions

Who are your top teams in the east right now? I say Bucks, Philly, then us, Indiana, Miami but we're still a top4 even without KD. We might be able to contend .

This is certainly a big day for the state of NJ as well. I am from the area and it is certainly exciting to finally see that a franchise which has never out right signed a free agent finally get three quality all stars in one free agent setting. Certainly good for the NJ.

Dude we're in Brooklyn now and there are some Nets fans in Brooklyn and the boroughs as well.
