Knicks still have 51 million in cap space after their Randle deal.

51 million in cap space with no competent experienced PG on the roster. Teague’s expiring contract will come with at least 1 Draft pick going to New York.

Teague to Knicks or Bulls.

It better be a second round draft pick.

Rosas better has his ducks in a row before sitting down with Russell. I have to believe he had a deal locked in, so the minute Russell agreed, we could finalize a deal to give us space.

If they trade Wiggins into cap space and don't take anything back, they can sign Russell outright by renouncing tyus jones

I really don't see why people think Minnesota will have to pay much to dump Jeff Teague.

Because not many teams left need a starting PG and very very few of those teams have 20m+ in cap space. The only one I can think of is possibly the Knicks. But they may want to give all the PG minutes to Dennis Smith Jr.

They wouldn’t need that much cap space because if we trade Teague we are also trading Dieng. Means we have 8+ cap space in addition to DLos max to play with

Are the Knicks the only team that fits the bill? If they have nothing else to do with the cap space Why not take Teague for a year and try again next year.

Why do you say that? If it’s a sign and trade with Teague, we only need a few more million going out to max Russell. My guess is Okogie.

If you’re trying to get someone to take Dieng and Teague you’re giving up a lot of assets.

I want to know what is happening with OKC, Dallas, and MN. Possible Teague to Dallas? or a sign and trade of Tyus and Wiggins?

Are we waiting on the Nets to renounce Russell? Where is Shrink to make sense of this madness?

That was a tweet from somebody nobody ever heard of. It might be a bunch of BS.

But for that there needs to be a 3rd team because the Nets can’t take back salary (if anything they need to unload more salary).

We're more likely waiting for the Nets to sign and trade Russell to us. If they renounce him we need to clear even more cap space.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
