If that's the case I'd rather just roll the dice with Monk.

undersized? The guy has a 6'8" wingspan.

Can anybody explain this to me? I just can't even...:(

Definitely not the worst team in the league with Rozier. We at least get something for Kemba as long as his contract isnt insane

We have to see what Coach Borrego can do. Is Rozier still going have the attitude if he's the star player?

Dude was doing media rounds as a mediocre backup. He may be different when he gets here but I would wager his ego goes the other way, especially when we're 6-45 at the All-Star break.

Say we get Rozier and he averages 18 to 20 a game next season. Thats an asset that can be traded. Its better than not getting anything at all.

Not really....if he actually performed that well it would lead to a few more wins, just enough to keep the team from getting best odds at a top 3 pick. I'm tired of mediocre basketball, tear it down the right way and rebuild

He isn't undersized. Average PG size is about 6'2" with a 6'4" wingspan. The guy is a high level defender and rebounder.

Career average/per 36 rebounds is 6.4.

Career average/per 36 - 4.6 assist to 1.4 turnover ratio.

Kemba was 6.1 assist to 2.7 turnover last year and averaged 4.5 rebounds per 36 minutes.

Not if he scores said 18-20 points on his career average 49.2 TS% he won't.

And guards typically get really solid efficient shots in Brad Stevens' offense.

This is a trash signing even for $6M a year, let alone anything above the MLE that would require a S&T

I think you should re-read my posts.

I don't think he's a lead guard. I think he's an off guard. As an off guard he's undersized.

lol no wtf

boston couldn't hit shots all of last year. their defense is what carried them over the course of the season. that offense never got it together last year and forcing kyrie/hayward back into the equation was the main reason behind that. if people want to evaluate rozier, the year before where he filled the role is the best place to draw conclusions from

If we didn’t sign Rozier we probably would average 60 points a game and he’s here on a prove-it deal for a lot of money. If he’s decent (and this is his opportunity to show he is) I see it as a trade asset in a year or two. It’s not like he’s gonna be here a decade.

I really hope if BJ Taylor OR William Mcdowell White doesn't get picked up by the Mavs we take a gamble on him. I really like his game if injuries arent a concern.
