Sixes have two severely bloated contracts on that roster. They’re gonna try and win it all with Simmons & Embiid as their two best players but they’ve definitely hitched their wagon to the wrong two guys to complement them with.

They ain’t winning ****

I would sign him for a year with whatever we have left.

Same but I don’t think there’s a chance in hell Brad would want him.

Simmons, Richardson, Harris, Horford, Embiid

That a championship team bro, as much as I hate saying it

SImmons is overrated as hell. The guy’s a weak link. Do they have shooters? Where’s the bench? They have size but where are the shooters?

Richardson, Harris and Horford can all stretch the floor.

They will find shooters dude. Every contender finds them by March.

Defensively they will be elite.

While we may have gotten Kemba, Sixers got Horford, and Kawhi is probably going to choose between raptors or lakers so a lose-lose situation regardless. Kyrie and Durant in Brooklyn. The Atlantic division is by far the strongest now

And why won't we be right there with everyone else? Please are really sleeping on this squad.

Because our roster is flat out awful right now.

Kemba is the only all star on the roster.

We don’t have any bigs.

Add almost any starting level center to this squad and they can hang with anyone in the east.

Boogie, KO?

Come on guys. Breathe. Get it together.

Well I tend to agree, but we don’t having a starting center, thats concerning.

I hope Horford’s game drops off like the way KG did once he went to the nets lmao.

I love that the best FA in this game hasn't announced anything. To be honest, I thought some dominos would fall around him.

It would be great if it drags it out a month.

Leonard probably just set out in his 20 year old chevy for a long solitary trip to consider his life's direction with the NBA being one of many points to weigh.

Does Leonard drive a car?

I pegged him as a guy that puts a Tesla in autopilot and climbs into the trunk while driving.

He's had this car since his college days and has clung to it. I think he had the engine rebuilt. But he does have something like a Jaguar for his fancy dress outings too. ( he also saves and uses coupons)

The Chief wrote:I know everyone is bemoaning the departure of Al Horford. And yeah, we'll miss his toughness and wild stuff like his three point shooting.

BUT...

Today we got rid of our locker room problems (Kyrie and Terry), avoided a super terrible contract (Al), and signed a top scoring guard who averaged 26 ppg last season and is a multiple sportsmanship award recipient.

It's a breath of fresh air tbh. I'll take our chances with Kemba, Tatum, Brown, Smart, Hayward over the hellish nightmare that was 2018-19.

Great post. Just keep a third star off the Lakers and it’ll be a pretty good FA.

Al is a great player, but he’s 33 and has bad knees. Frequently misses games due to nagging injuries. You don’t give a guy like that $100 million.

People who think Philly won't be good think Kawhi wouldn't make the Lakers overwhelming favorites

It sucks that he left to Philly. But to give him $25m+ for the next 4 years in not a good investment. If you look at C's books, they could be back on the market when Gordon's deal expires. That would be difficult with Al on the books.

Love him as a player, but to be fair, it sucks when your max guy is a glue guy.

How does Al Horford eat his meals?

Image

30 pieces of silverware.

Horford picked Clown City over Championship City.

Horford huge money, Joel huge, Tobias huge. Ben Simmons extension tomorrow?

Not sure how that works.

Where is Boban in all this?

They're an Embiid injury away from the lottery.

Having to pay Al that much money for 4 years, plus having to cough up a pick to the Nets just so we could keep Al......I think we made the right move. It is what it is. Let's just hope we are on the phone with Favors and his agent right now.
