use it to collect draft capital

if you just sign mediocre role players...why clear cap space at all?

i doubt minny is giving you an unprotected 1st. they've sucked too much for too long to do that for d'angelo russel.

I’m not upset we didn’t get KD or Kyrie. 1 is a huge health risk and the other a head case (and health risk)

Knox could play 4 next year? Come on. He'll get broken in half. Give him a couple of years to lift weights and eat a few cheeseburgers.

He could STILL get a few minutes at 4 even after Randle and Gibson, who need to provide about 18 minutes a night at C as well.

Sure, I would've liked a cheaper guy than Gibson, but it's not the end of the world.

We aren't gonna be a half court team, Knox will be adequate at the four. All our young guys need to get stronger.

Knox just isn't ready for 38 mpg at the 4.
I realize that Randle will get 30 mpg, so it's slicing his minutes to a max of 18, but still. I think Knox can some 4, just not too much. Regardless if they are going to "push the pace". At some points, size matters. If not, just roll out guards and SF's at all 5 positions. Knicks have a lot of them. Why not!

I would have brought back Vonleh for a cheaper amount. Play him when Knox appears overwhelmed.
