I'll take Dotson over Bullock (if he cost us a lot of $$) and Trier.

Time to let go of Trier, thought we needed him for KD. If he doesn't start passing or learn how to pass, he gotta go.
Trier is more talented than either Dotson or Bullock. But you've already lost any credibility with your silly statement about trading Dotson and Trier for 2nd rounders.

LOL wrong poster.

Trier may be a talented scorer and what else is he good at? You can find a lot of ISO scorers in the league.

That's when the Knicks swoop in and sign Russell on the cheap. But not if you panic and start offering backup vets contracts so early in the off-season. Honestly, it's almost like neither Perry not Mills have any experience building winning teams. Oh wait....

That Taj deal is infuriating - much rather see them making deals with capspace and picks than sign washed old heads

I need to see what else Perry does, but I agree that I would much rather use our cap space to acquire assets.

To early in FA to get Taj... no one was running to sign him for $10 million... this threw me off.. we better get some picks/assets and/or sign Kawhi or Oubre Jr or DLO...

if you just sign mediocre role players...why clear cap space at all?

i doubt minny is giving you an unprotected 1st. they've sucked too much for too long to do that for d'angelo russel.

then they don't get russell...no one else has space to totally clear 30+ except us now...

Some of the posts on this forum are flaming dumpster juice and if this FA period makes it go away forever it would be well worth it.

Fast forward through this season:

- Knicks get another top 10 pick

- Nets bounced in first round

- Warriors or Lakers win championship

Keep building, Mr. Perry.

I’m not upset we didn’t get KD or Kyrie. 1 is a huge health risk and the other a head case (and health risk)

I’m not upset we signed Randle or Taj. Both are quality big men on decent deals.

I am upset we didn’t/haven’t used our space to facilitate something and get some assets!!!!

Knox could play 4 next year? Come on. He'll get broken in half. Give him a couple of years to lift weights and eat a few cheeseburgers.

He could STILL get a few minutes at 4 even after Randle and Gibson, who need to provide about 18 minutes a night at C as well.

Sure, I would've liked a cheaper guy than Gibson, but it's not the end of the world.

We aren't gonna be a half court team, Knox will be adequate at the four. All our young guys need to get stronger.

Knox just isn't ready for 38 mpg at the 4.
I realize that Randle will get 30 mpg, so it's slicing his minutes to a max of 18, but still. I think Knox can some 4, just not too much. Regardless if they are going to "push the pace". At some points, size matters. If not, just roll out guards and SF's at all 5 positions. Knicks have a lot of them. Why not!

I would have brought back Vonleh for a cheaper amount. Play him when Knox appears overwhelmed.
