this isn't even a hot take. Ainge is one of the worst drafters in the league. With all those assets he got from the Nets trade, he's done such a terrible job that the Nets will be better going forward than the Celtics. Imagine being that bad at drafting and able to keep your job for 15 years. It's just incredible.

Like I said in other threads and will repeat it here. Danny and Brad better have good to great seasons from both Tatum and Brown. They litteraly banking on them to do so. Losing two top players for chemistry issue is definitely going to bring some narratives those two won't like. Last time Doc was able to manage Ray and Rondo situation, but guess what he ain't there anymore. From what we know main issue was Gordan getting undeserved playing time over those two, let's see how it will work out next year.
I'm more than exited to see how Markinson will handle both KD and Kyrie and prove they're a real leaders that can handle it. Pat was able yo handle LBJ and keep his man Spo as coach, Pops is Pops etc. Also big props to KD and Kyrie taking pay cuts to bring DJ without losing any role players, great start.
