Because it’s Danny Ainge. Charlotte pays a lot for a sub-40% six foot guard, lets Walker sign here and hands over a pick for our troubles, while allowing us to spend more money. Would you really expect anything less?

Kemba is such a humble dude. Kyrie would have said something stupid the first 2 sentence in an interview

Just not big enough to guard embiid and Giannis is taller with twice the wing span of looney. Plus the warriors got Bogut to defend bigger centers, and we don’t.

For the ESPN-less ... from the Kemba interview:

Said today was surreal.
Hard to leave Charlotte, that gave him his first opportunity. Loves Charlotte.
Wants to fulfill his dreams at next level. Boston best fit to accomplish those goals.
Biggest factor of him going to Boston is to take on a new chapter in his career.
Wants to compete at the highest level, and Boston competes year in and year out every playoffs.
Thinks of the Celtics as "winning" and "championships".

Rozier might have had offers in this range elsewhere and the S&T was the only way for them to get there.

WTF is Ainge doing?

How can he know Horford ain’t coming back and we’re sitting here almost already out of options when it comes to bigs?

I don’t know if I can bear with watch a team starting Enes **** Kanter

We just signed an All-NBA player a couple of hours ago.

Tough crowd lol.

Tough crowd let's see now we draft small lose rozier, irving, horford, morris, baynes, and sign an older version of kyrie without the attitude. Let a plethora of decent bigs with good contracts walk without talking to them. so ya not a tough crowd a very smart crowd that sees a hurry up plan turn to no depth and below avg available bigs left that we will most likely have to pay and play, all the while almost every eastern team not named wizards increased there talent.

Bucks got worse. Raps will likely get worse. Philly arguably got worse. Indy will still not have Dipo for a bit. Nets won't have KD all year, and are likely not improved in short-term. Magic and Pistons not doing anything. Hornets just replaced Kemba and Kaminsky with Rozier.

That was the rest of the top 9 in the East, fwiw (Hornets on a tiebreaker over Heat, who aren't much to worry about, either).

Because Hornets have no cap space for Rozier.

I don't think S&Ts generate TPEs.
