If two superstars even one injured chose the irrelevant franchise in your own city isn’t a wake up call, then nothing is..my only bright side to this is how the Knicks have been terrible for so long without any real threat, but now there is and they can’t screw around anymore.

We have two jobs this season

1. Make RJ the main attraction in NY. Everything should be about him and his development.

2. Just win and it shuts everyone up. No more 17 win seasons.

My biggest issue is that defense still needs to be a huge part of our rebuild. Its the best way to start the turnaround. The best teams all play defense. Even if we could just get to an avg defensive team it would be a nice step. I just don't see that as a priority though.

Just edited my post. Yes I agree.

SGA and Mitchell as your back court would have been much more enticing for FA. They better hope RJ pans out and that Knox shows a little improvement because we need a solid young core besides Robinson badly. I have given up on Frank. His offensive game is so bad that all the defensive skills in the world still makes him a liability.

you guys buy into the media narratives too much. if they clippers don't get kawhi, are they a joke too ? they made the playoffs in the west and still couldn't get anyone. jimmy butler preferred the heat. kd didn't want to go there either. it happens.
